Johns Hopkins Drops To Number 2 In Ranking

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore and Massachusetts General of Boston have swapped places.

Mass General was number two last year according to the annual survey by U.S. News and World Report, which is considered one of the best and most thorough study on the subject.

The difference really boiled down to one point in specialty areas. Massachusetts General had 16 number one specialties to Hopkins' 15.

  1. This can't be right. Don't the hospitals in Mass have Romeycare? I thought that was a bad thing.

  2. Johns Hopkins has one of the BEST neonatal units ( sorry if I spelled it wrong ) in the US! I have spent more time there than I ever wanted to spend in any hospital. They are the best! The hospital in Salisbury admitted to us that they had NO ONE who could take of or treat a baby with multiple problems.

  3. 1107-Mass leads the nation in healthcare inflation. So yes, it is bad.
