New Audit Uncovers Millions Of Maryland Dollars Wasted


A new audit has uncovered that Maryland state agencies have wasted as much as $63 million over the past three years.

The Maryland Office of Legislative Audits uncovered the findings in the routine examinations it performs on each state agency every three years.

The office says that some departments are repeatedly making the same mistakes and all of them are costing taxpayers a bundle.

  2. No surprise here either. The democrats have controlled this state for more than 50 years. Even the one term Ehrlich couldn't accomplish real change - they refused to work with him.

    So, all you dems - hope your happy. You get what you vote for.

  3. The majority of the state agencies themselves are a waste and not needed and surely every state agency has an overwhelming number of hair brained programs that accomplish nothing else other than creating state jobs.
    With omalley though we can't expect anything else. He knows nothing about job creation unless it's in the state government.

  5. just think the cash we'd have if O'Malley had not bought up a half million acres and turned it over to the MD DNR paying as much as 10K an acre?...those Billions were there when Bob Erlich was Governor...many of those acres...crony pals get to optimize the resources off them too
