Md. Lawmakers Push Seat Belts For All Passengers

WASHINGTON - Two Maryland lawmakers are pushing legislation that would require every person riding in a car to wear a seat belt.

While all drivers in the area are required to buckle up, Virginia and Maryland do not currently require passengers in the back seat to wear seat belts. D.C. does require all passengers to buckle up.
