State House Republicans next week will file a bill that would freeze the amount of energy suppliers have to get from renewable sources at current levels.
The bill's main sponsor, Minority Leader Greg Lavelle of Brandywine Hundred, says Delmarva Power currently has to get 7 percent of its electricity from renewable sources, and under the current Renewable Portfolio Standard, that number has to increase to 25 percent by 2025.
