Five large businesses and organizations are giving their support to Alan and Kristin Hudson of Berlin to help raise funds for their legal defense in their battle with the New York-based Waterkeeper Alliance.
MidAtlantic Farm Credit, Delaware Farm Bureau, poultry company Mountaire Farms, the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association and the National Chicken Council have joined SaveFarmFamilies.org, which was launched in September to raise funds for the Family Farmers Legal Defense Fund.
The five businesses and organizations are just the latest to jump on board to support the Hudsons, targets of a lawsuit alleging their chicken farm is discharging pollutants into the waterways.

What a shame if you go on the save farm families website you will see with your own eyes just how much torment they have put them through they have listed all the court filings they are endless this should be considered harassment. When one court throws it out they go to another one. There should be a law put on the books just for these organizations without the farms we all are screwed. It is amazing you can get a peace order against individuals but not them they seem to be above the reach of law. I hope that one day they encounter someone that worries them like they worry the farmers.SHAME ON THEM THEY ARE A--HOLES!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is really outragous is your tax dollars are used to sue the farmers! They use the legal dept of University of Md to do the suing of citizens!
