Montgomery Co. Teacher Accused Of Choking Students Heads To Court

A Montgomery County teacher is in court this week, reports NBC Washington, on charges stemming from a December 2010 incident in which she was accused choking and punching students.

Susan Lee Burke of Laurel, who taught first grade at Greencastle Elementary School, was charged with several counts of assault in February. She was placed on administrative leave in January after Montgomery County schools officials learned of the allegations.

    Those poor kids will be scarred for life. If my child was in her class jail time would be the least of her worries!

    Some kids need a different approach to get their attention.
    The childs gangsta image diffently has a dent in it. Ten points for teacher.
