Harold Love Springer III, indicted in federal court this summer on child pornography charges, was released from jail Sept. 8.
Springer, 73, of Wilmington, has pleaded not guilty to the charges.
He had been in custody since Aug. 2, when he turned himself in to face charges of transportation, receipt and possession of child pornography.
Springer was released on his own recognizance pending a pretrial appearance scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 11, in U.S. District Court in Wilmington. He remains in home confinement at his Wilmington home, according to court documents.
