Ocean City Beach Patrol Takes Top Honors In Lifeguard Olympics



Ocean City Beach Patrol ran, swam and paddled to a first-place finish with 64 points at the Lifeguard Olympics held July 28 in Rehoboth Beach. The host team of Rehoboth Beach Patrol garnered second place with 57 points while North Bethany followed in third with 52 points.
South Bethany scored 50 for fourth while Bethany Beach Patrol took fifth with 34 points. Delaware State Parks took sixth with 32 points, Middlesex scored 19 points for seventh, Sea Colony scored 18 for eighth, Dewey scored 8 for ninth place and Fenwick Island scored 7 points to finish 10th.
