Two men were arrested in connection with drug trafficking July 5 after police stopped their car on Coastal Highway near Lewes.
The two were speeding southbound when troopers pulled them over at 11:17 p.m., said Cpl. Bruce Harris of the Delaware State Police.
During the stop, Harris said the trooper smelled marijuana and after a search of the car found Oxycodone, Oxymorphone, ecstasy, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Police arrested James Jordan, 27, of Elkton, Md. and Shane P. Prucino, 25, of Newark and charged them with trafficking Ecstasy, possession with intent to deliver a narcotic, second-degree conspiracy and other drug charges.
Jordan also was charged with traffic offenses and was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $38,250 secured bond. Prucino was committed to SCI in default of $36,00 secured bond.
