NASA is planning a pair of upcoming rocket launches from its Wallops Island Flight Facility.

On Thursday morning, 17 educational experiments will be launched aboard a suborbital rocket. The experiments were built by university instructors, teachers, and students from across the country.

A Defense Department satellite will be carried aboard a U.S. Air Force rocket that's scheduled for launch on June 28.
