So....now new journalsist aren't allowed to video tape Obama? This female journalist was assaulted by Obama's police. How much of this do we have to take?
HONOLULU -- A public access television crew complained of police mistreatment Thursday, after trying to get a picture of President Barack Obama.
Just after dawn Wednesday, the three-woman crew for a Big Island public access program called "We Are Change Hawaii" drove up to the barricade near the president's vacation home in Kailua.
Host R.J. Hampton was told they couldn't stay, so she spoke into the video camera as she returned to the car.
"OK, you know it Obama we're OK with you, you OK with us,” Hampton said on the tape, provided to KITV. “We just wanted to get a glimpse of you but we're moving on because this is a private street and we don't want to make anybody nervous. Aloha!” She waved to the Secret Service agents at the barricade as she climbed back into the car.
The crew was video-taping vehicle searches along the potential motorcade route as they left the neighborhood. They noticed a van behind them.

Or maybe just another case of police "acting stupidly"

I know they were, but it proves that Obama and his company thinks he is better than thou...
The Secret Service under George W. Bush routinely set up a half-mile perimeter around W, within which no signs, t-shirts, or any form of protesting was allowed. Middle-aged couples were arrested - yes, arrested - for wearing t-shirts critical of W's handling of the Iraq War.
ReplyDeleteBut go ahead and act like Obama's the first president to ever limit access to him.
They are so confused on who the enemy is they go after everyone.

Fruitland Illiterate Moron is pimping for his idol again! Why can't liberals think for themselves?
Fruitland geriatric citizen You don't get to make up history as you go along. The only time people were arrested was when they protested illegally which included trespassing.
ReplyDeleteThe Secret Service is a private army that has NO --- NONE! -- Constitutional restrictions. Under the guise of protecting the President, they can detain you without warrant, confiscate and destroy private property, arrest citizens without charges, search anyone for any reason they want to make up, assault anyone they deem to be a threat and shoot them if they THINK its necessary. All with no legal restraint or repercussions. A T-shirt that MAY "incite" violence is good enough reason to handcuff you, throw you into a car and take you away. Nothing at all you can do. Those are the facts.
