Traffic Advisory For Annual Salisbury Christmas Parade

The below listed streets will be closed on Sunday, December 5, 2010, from approximately 1:15 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. for the annual Salisbury Christmas Parade:

Mount Herman Road between Civic Avenue and Long Avenue

East Main Street between Long Avenue and Rt. 13

Snow Hill Road between E. Main Street and South Park Drive

Ward Street between Rt. 50 and East Main Street

Long Avenue between Alvin Avenue and East Main Street

Civic Avenue between Glen Avenue and Mt. Herman Road

Rt. 50 intersections will closed to traffic entering Civic Avenue, East Main Street, Truitt Street, and Ward Street along the Parade route.

The 500 block of East William Street will be open for access to local businesses along the East Main Street and Truitt Street areas.

Side street traffic will not be permitted to cross the parade route. Motorists should expect traffic congestion on side streets near the parade route.
