Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On September 21, 2010 at approximately 12:05 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of Beaglin Park Drive and South Park Drive and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by the below listed passenger. While conducting the traffic stop the officers detected the scent of suspected marijuana emanating from the vehicle. The vehicle was checked, and the suspect was found in possession of a quantity of suspected marijuana.
ARRESTED: Antonio Jamar Watson, 25 years of age
Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Possession of marijuana
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On September 21, 2010 at approximately 1:00 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were on routine patrol in the area of Records Street and conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect for traffic violations. The suspect was found to be driving without a license and was placed under arrest. A search of the suspect, incident to arrest, revealed a quantity of suspected marijuana in his pants pocket.
ARRESTED: Tyrie Lamar Henderson, 25 years of age

CHARGES: Possession of marijuana

Driving without a license
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On September 21, 2010 at approximately 3:53 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were in the area of South Boulevard and Rt. 13 and observed a vehicle operated by the below listed suspect involved in a single vehicle traffic accident. The officers made contact with the suspect who was not injured and advised that he was under the influence of an injected drug. The suspect was found to be driving on a suspended and revoked license. A search of the vehicle revealed a used syringe containing suspected fentanyl.
ARRESTED: Alan Matthew Call, 42 years of age

to the motor vehicle accident

On September 22, 2010 at approximately 4:53 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police arrested the below listed suspect for a strong-arm type robbery that occurred on August 21, 2010. The robbery took place at the Shore Stop Store on Eastern Shore Drive and occurred when the suspect grabbed an amount of U.S. currency out of the hand of the store clerk and fled from the scene on foot. The officers obtained the arrest warrant following the identification of the suspect.
ARRESTED: Daivon Marquis Evans, 27 years of age

CHARGES: Robbery
Theft (under $ 100)
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking
