BAKER IS BACKING OLLINGER, NOT POLLITT

John Wayne Baker, who received almost 20% of the Democrat primary vote for Wicomico County Executive, has endorsed Joe Ollinger for that position in the general election.

  1. Is Baker's endorsement suppose to be a positive for Ollinger? I think not!

  2. Baker is a good man and you can count on him to watch your back. Unlike the majority of Democrat lawyers in this town who pretend to be good guys but secretly deal under the table every day. He also announced at the AFP meeting that he would be switching to Republican because local Democrats no longer represented the common man.

  3. This and the free ad Ollinger got on the front page of the Daily Times today has given his campaign momentum that he can build on as the Republican surge continues in Wicomico County an peaks on November 2nd.

  4. 2:02-

What are you smoking -- JWB got 20% of the hard core Dem voters in the primary, and most will follow him in the general, when they can and will vote for Joe Ollinger.

It will be interesting to see how Fineran spins this for Pollitt.

  8. I just put this in so you could have three. My wife voted for Baker, I voted for Ollinger, she and I will vote for Ollinger next time.

  10. 2:08 Are you trying to infer Baker is an attorney? It's John Wayne Baker and not Ed Baker. There is a big big difference there. Just saying.

If I were Ollinger I would denounce his backing and I wouldn't care if I lost his votes.

  12. Praise the lord. A man with a business and technical background. Something that is lacking at the County. AND he is physically fit to boot! The top is a reflection of the organization. Rid the fat!!

  13. Its been two good weeks in a row for Ollinger -- today's Daily Times has his name and sign above the fold on page 1 -- that's priceless -- and now a boffo endorsement and likely 1,000 plus votes in November.

Also a very successful fund raiser.

    Sincerely,

    Sick Of Rick
