Update On Emery Court

On July 18, 2010 at approximately 6:55 pm, Officers responded to
510 Emory Court to check on the welfare of subjects. Receiving no answer at the door, the officers were able to make entry into the apartment with the assistance of facility personnel. Upon entry, the officers located two bodies, one of a black male and the other of a black female. These subjects have been identified as 26 year old Antonio Smith of Salisbury, and 31 year old Arlene Byrd, also of Salisbury. Smith lived at the residence on Emory Court and Byrd lived elsewhere in Salisbury. The circumstances surrounding the deaths are suspicious at this time and both bodies have been sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, MD for an autopsy.

Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call the Salisbury Police at 410-548-3165 or to call Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776. Information may be left anonymously.

  2. LMAO! An anonymous comment stating "some are saying". Do tell me who would be so dumb as to make such a statement. Nevermind, I think I already know.

  7. 4:52 IT is the Parkside apartments, across from where the the old Salisbury mall used to be, next to Harvard Manufacturers. Also spelled Emory.

  8. Harvard Manufacturers has more druggies, gangbangers, and active alchoholics working there than any place in the 'Bury. Bet Emory Ct. is home to half of them.

  9. What does Harvard have to do with it?!

  10. hey 6:14, Blacks have to work somewhere. I'd bet McDonalds, or any other fast food restuarant has Harvard beat...

  11. First of all 6:14PM, it is Harvard Custom Manufacturing, not Harvard Manufacturers, if you are going to make a statement make sure you have the right information. Do you work at Harvard Custom Manufacturing? Emory Court is a name of a road that is within Parkside Apartments not Harvard Custom Manufacturing. I agree with 7:21pm, what does Harvard have to do with it?

  12. Harvard Custom Manufacturing has NOTHING to do with this!! They are a great company to work for with excellent benefits. They care about their employees (minus the HR department - which sucks - but you can't have it all). You shouldn't bring in an innocent company just because they happen to be loccated next door to the apartment complex. This could have happened ANYWHERE!!!
