At tomorrow’s Wicomico County Council meeting, Rick Pollitt will ask for confirmation of two new members on the Commission who have special interests in zoning and development. One person currently works for the “Eastern Shore Land Conservancy” and the other is actively involved in development. These persons have overriding conflicts, if not activist personal agendas. Neither should be confirmed.
I just came accross his new web site. He has alot of info about himself. Looks like the best canidate for the job. www.ricksfriends.com
ReplyDeletelets make a committee to research the council that votes on a subcommittee who oversees a board that keeps tabs on a group that set up the rules for another committee. after that research is done, lets get some analysts to study the research. of course we'll need a committee that elects these analysts...
ReplyDeletewhen will we stop spending money on beauracracy? (SP?)

ReplyDeleteBased on Pollitt's 4 years in office, you are dead wrong. John Baker is the best for that position.
I would love to be on the Planning and Zoning Commission. There would not be any conflict then. But Rick would not have me on the Commission since I use practical common sense.
ReplyDeletewhat are their names

ReplyDeleteSorry, that's "Eastern"!
Jacob Day is also on a natural resources conservation commission with Judith Stribling and that lunatic John Grout! Special interests there ya think? Way to go Rick-you're definately transparent because we can see right through you to your real agendas!!
ReplyDeleteRick needs votes from the green special interest community. WTF?
ReplyDeleteso we got the environmentalists covered and the developers covered
ReplyDeletedid slick rick think that cancels each other out but buys him the votes?
By all means lets save the speculating consciousless "developers" whose greed has virtually wiped out the Eastern Shore and helped lead to the crash. Why do you want to support these leeches?
ReplyDeleteI'm finding it very hard to agree with anything that Rick Pollitt does anymore. He's for anything that is not for the good of all - a career bureaucraft who has only his own interest at heart. If he ever had to work for a living, he'd understand the taxpayer's plight.
ReplyDeleteIs this the same Jacob Day that is an architect in Salisbury? I think he works for something called the Land Conservancy.
ReplyDeleteIsn't he in the Army? How can he be on boards in Salisbury? Does he still live in Salisbury?
ReplyDelete5:57...last ime I checked the Eastern Shore had not been "wiped out"...you hyperbole is amusing and lame
