  5. People coming from Ocean City on 50 west were driving like idiots. I was driving 60 and they were passing me like I was standing still. People need to slow the hell down. This one chick blew passed me and then slammed on her brakes, cut me off and went flying into the Dash In. Plus when she got in there she was rude. Then when she pulled out she almost hit someone. SLOW DOWN people.

  55. The first comment about Sam being killed was at 1:46. I am a member of the family who was not reached with the information until 2:30. This kind of information should NOT be posted until sufficient time passes and there is time for the family to be told! Have some sensitivity here, please!! I am so glad I didn't find out from reading it here, it would have killed me. Sam, we miss you already. :-(

  56. Y'know, traffic lights will not stop this from happening. People drive like freakin IDIOTS. It doesn't matter if there's lights or if the Police sit out there, they can't stop all of them!

  57. 6:12 - I think I am correct in stating that the comments were not updated until after the MSP press conference this afternoon. I kept checking hear to find out some info and it wasn't posted. The comments probably came in at that time but they weren't posted. I am certain that was done out of respect for the family.

I am truly sorry for your loss. May God comfort you at this difficult time.

  58. I never understand why some people feel it is perfectly fine to post pictures of accident scenes that do not involve well known figures, but feel it is not okay to publish pictures when a well known person is involved or killed. Every person is someone's family member or friend. Just because Vincent held his position does not make him any more or less important than others who are involved in an accident.

It is a tragedy because a life was lost. Any life lost is saddening to various people, even if that person was not a political figure, they are important to many lives they have touched.

My condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Vincent.

  59. 6:12 we are all sorry for your loss if you are really a family member. But in all fairness the comment was made and sent to Joe at 1:46. Joe never posted it until after 4:00 p.m. when he got back to his computer to moderate his comments. He was waiting until he was contacted by Davis and Mike Lewis to let him know that it was OK to post and that the family had been notified. A press conference was held and still Joe hadn't received the call. Joe never posted the comments until it was already out in the open.

  61. To those idiots saying haha Joe, the real media beat you out, I have this to say:

I respect Joe Albero more than ever for holding off and you can go to hell for using this terrible tragedy as more ammunition in your wretched hate of Joe Albero.

Know this: by your sick taunting, you have strengthened Joe Albero's standing more than Joe Albero could ever do on his own. The more you knock Albero, the bigger his supporters network becomes and the more devoted.

Sleep with that, you sick idiots. Every stupid word out of your stupid mouths gains him credibility, especially when he responds to you jerks with far more dignity than I can.

To the family of Sam Vincent, I pray for God to give you strength and comfort in this time of terrible tragedy. He was a good man, beloved by many. Thank you for letting him serve us. I only wish there were something I could say or do to take some of this terrible pain away or turn back the clock for you and Sam.

  62. why is it that one post says NAMES ARE BEING WITH HELD but most of these comments is noisy just out right ignorant people have to throw the gentlemens name into it wow i can see rip or something but read these comments every one to every other one has to have his name wow cant believe people sometimes what if it was your family or kids????

    ReplyDelete
  63. My prayers also go out to the family. As far as some have said about a traffic light at that intersection... might not be a bad idea. But then some will complain about to many traffic lights on Rt 50. People should just learn to drive and more severe penalties should be handed out for causing an accident... even if they are not DUI. But I do expect a light there soon...
