Bad Accident On Rt. 13

There's been a very bad accident on Rt. 13 & College Ave. One vehicle is flipped over and there are other vehicles involved. Please avoid this area for at least the next 30 minutes. Emergency personnel are just now arriving at the scene.

  1. YEP!!! Services are not affected by closing station 1. Only took 4 minutes for them to repsond with the on duty crews being committed to other calls in the city. Gotta love that decision there Hopeless!! Hope nobody is seriously injured.

  3. The driver had an extensive criminal record and was speeding when he hit an innocent driver. The drug task force persued him and witnessed the car flip and take out the power pole. He was fighting the paramedics and State troopers when I came up. His hand had a bad cut and the paramedics said his mouth was full of crack. Hope the other driver is OK and this P.O.S. never sees the outside of a jail.

  4. The Local in A.A. County will love the photos of this incident. The Grunt driving a ladder truck when a career staff is out of service.

  5. Why is a loser like that driver still out in society? Yes, he does have an extensive criminal record. Perhaps we could send lowlifes of his ilk to MEXICO in some kind of trade agreement.

  7. Joe,FYI, it is not an accident, it is a Motor vehicle crash(MVC).

Calling it an accident implies that it could not have been avoided. All crashes can be avoided, but some more than others.

Emergency response, clinical professions, Injury Prevention Specialists, and all statistics refer to them as MVC's.

  10. With all the hype about towing companies this past week I'd like to know what the public thinks this clean up was worth? Judging by the photos that you were given of course.
