"If there was ever a case that screams for the death penalty, this is the case."

  1. Tracey said it exactly right. All those politicians up there are worrying about is being re elected. That's why it ended up being on the Governors Bill to save face for the senators that wouldn't pass this bill. Screw them all VOTE FOR NO INCUMBENT.

    Good job to all involved.

  4. Take a look at the facts about where O'Malley stands:

    a. He is AGAINST capitol punishment period.

    b. He is FOR abortion.

So, kill a baby, save a felon. There's little room here for Sarah and others like her. Martin would rather talk about crabs anyway because it's a distraction without obligation.

  5. I think that the citizens and parents of Salisbury should hold a special thank you celebration of gratitude for the time and effort our sheriff, Mike Lewis and Joe Albero along with many others who have put put pressure on our elected officials to make certain this new law passed. If ever a community has come together, Sarah Foxwell has done it for our community. God Bless you darling child. You will always be remembered and loved by your community.

  6. I've witnessed it time-and-time again. These politicos don't care about anybody except themselves.
Their priority is lining their own hip pockets with taxpayers money and then touting that they are your advocates.

They should be unseated immediately. To even allow this legislation to go till the 11th hour is a travesty.

All incumbents should be replaced. Our system was not meant to be run this way.

  7. Al from Fenwick, bite me. O'Malley came through. He's got kids. No doubt he thought about his own with this.

He's not totally against capital (not capitol) punishment. He just doesn't want to end up like Texas executing innocent people.

He's not "for" abortion. He's pro-choice. There is a big difference, no matter how much you want to twist it.

There are a lot of things O'Malley doesn't thrill me on, but he's a moderate Democrat and I will give him credit for making sure there's a harder minimum sentence for sex abusers of children.

You can't do that, then you are just another hack who will put party before issue. If you were an elected official, I'd vote your butt out for that.

I'll support people regardless of party if they do the right thing and O'Malley sure did on this.

R.I.P., beautiful Sarah. If 10 more years will save some children from your fate, then it's a step forward in your beloved memory.

Thanks for all you've done to keep this front and center, Joe, and letting us speak our minds and hearts.

No my dear, it's nothing to do with Texas. It's all to do with politics. Read the Post article at:
