In Loving Memory Of Sarah Foxwell, "Our Christmas Angel"

First of all, let me thank Salisbury Monument for all of their hard work in making this very special monument for little Sarah become a reality. Between the Disharoon Family and multiple Wicomico County Firefighters who reached into their own pockets to help make this a reality, Thank You and God Bless each and every one of you.

I arrived at 12:30 to Sarah's grave site today with great anticipation as this special monument had been in the works for many weeks now. Sarah's image had to be custom etched into the stone as well as a very special rose on the back side near Sarah's image.

Let me also take this opportunity to thank the Holloway Family as well. Their generosity and love is so comforting, knowing there are still very special people within this community that have never forgotten where they came from.

R.I.P. Little Sarah.

  3. WOW!!!!!! How beautiful!! Although I didnt know Sarah, my life was touched in a way I wish nobodys ever was. I was consumed by the search, dedication, and Mike Lewis' determination to find her. I wasnt sure how to mix anger/rage for him (his name doesnt even deserve to be mentioned in the same sentence) and such sorrow for Sarah and her family. The masses of people that were at Perdue Staduim on Christmas morning was overwhelming. Sarah may not have been "our" child, but she was all of "OUR" ANGEL!! She will not be forgotten. RIP Sarah

  16. Folks, once again JT, JR or the likes have been trying to use other peoples names to publish nasty and negative comments, such as Mr. Disharoon mentioned above. I forwarded him the message they tried getting through and of course it was another fake.

If you or anyone else see comments that come in you did not publish, please let us know. It is against the law to attempt to impersonate others and we will be happy to agree to allow Google, (should they ask) to use the IP Address to go after such individuals.

  18. So lovely! She will never be forgotten!

    In Memory of Sarah

    Tears fell from Heaven
    As the Good Lord cried.
It was time to pick an Angel
    And only He could decide.

    He looked and He searched
And when He knew her fate,
    He picked little Sarah
    And opened Heaven's gate.

    What a beautiful little Angel!
    The other Angels said.
    They gave her white wings
And put a halo on her head.

    Again tears from Heaven
In the form of raindrops they fell.
    Welcome home little Angel!
    Welcome home Sarah Foxwell.

May you rest in peace Sarah!

I always knew firefighters were heroes...this just proves it even more! Thanks Joe for posting this. The Holloway family should be commended for whatever they did along w/the Disharoon family. God Bless Sarah Haley Foxwell and her family. RIP! I also love the poem from Cindy.
