Folks, please stop sending me the Amber Alert from Delaware. It's a FALSE Amber Alert and has not been confirmed by the Delaware State Police.
I know it's sick for someone to send those things out but I can assure you, it's been going around for three days now and IF there was any truth to it we would have been contacted by the State Police.
STOP sending it to others as well. Again, it's now three days old. We'll publish ALL alerts when they are confirmed but this one is a hoax.
Snopes people..... snopes.com
ReplyDeleteThis fake alert cycles around about every two months. Sick people out there.
This is not the first time a Amber Alert with the same discription of vehicle has been used. It was sent out about 3 or 4 months ago. It is sick for someone to send a Hoax regarding a child being taken. I wish they could trace the orginial sender and make a stiff penalty for scaring the stuffings out of people.
ReplyDeleteThank you Joe for saying you will post all amber alerts.....
ReplyDeleteI had to comment on 2 facebook posts about it.
ReplyDeletePeople, please check amberalert.com before fowarding anything.
I speak from experience because I, too, fell for such nonsense last summer.
Can't these text messages be traced to the originator? If so the person spreading such nonsense should be charged with reporting false information.
ReplyDeletepeople need to grow the f*** up i got 2 forwarded text messages this morning stating a 3 year old boy was taken from a man in a eclipse. they even put the tag number and description of the car. its not a laughing matter, and whoever started the rumor needs to sit back and think hard what if this was my child or family memeber or friend. its time to grow up losers.
