  1. What's with all these dog owners in this area? It seems like not one week goes by there isn't at least 5 dogs who just "happened" to run away or get loose. Don't you people watch your dogs?

You all should be ashamed. I've owned dogs for 15+ years and not one time have I had to go looking for a dog- because I watch them!

  2. Delores, With all due respect, there has never been a place to go when someone lost an animal. Salisbury News provides this service to literally thousands of people who own many pets. It's a lot like crime. No one knew crime was as bad as it is because the local media refused to publish it. It may see like a lot to you, I understand that. However, considering how many pets are out there, this is minute. Please be happy that there's a source to go to just as soon as your pet is missing.

  3. Delores, I'm sure you are perfect. And I'm sure that's no glass house you live in.

  4. My dogs have those collars for the invisable fence. I know from experience not to leave them out alone because if a cat comes in our yard they chase it out and sometimes go past the fence line. The problem is that they know to come back in the yard they will get zappepd again. It's not a fence I have by choice at the moment but had to have something. As soon as I can afford to fence in my backyard it will be done so my girls can run freely.

This dog looks like the one that was in the tv movie Thanksgiving weekend "A Dog Named Christmas".

  5. Thanks everyone.

I guess some forget just how many dogs live in Salisbury. They out number people possibly in this neighborhood.

This dog was in a well fenced yard with the invisible fence on top. But managed to get out somehow. It happens.

Thankfully this blog is here to help.

Furthermore the Animal Shelter no longer picks up strays.

This dog was only away from home a few hours.

  9. Great service this blog provides. Happy ending for the dog and her family. Heart-warming example of a good Samaritan. Anyone who doesn't want to talk about one of those three things should shut up.
