O'Malley To Meet Prime Minister

GOVERNOR MARTIN O’MALLEY TO JOIN VICE PRESIDENT BIDEN, SECRETARY OF STATE CLINTON FOR LUNCH TO HONOR INDIAN PRIME MINISTER MANMOHAN SINGH

ANNAPOLIS, MD (November 23, 2009) – Governor Martin O’Malley tomorrow will join Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, who will be hosting a lunch at the State Department Tuesday to honor Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his wife, Gursharan Kaur.

Lunch guests include Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano; U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice; Christina Romer of the Council of Economic Advisers; Speaker Nancy Pelosi; Sens. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) and Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.); and Reps. Gary Ackerman (D-N.Y.), Howard Berman (D-Calif.) and Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) The entire Indian delegation and some White House and State Department staffers will also attend.
