Democrat Sen. Tom Carper: Read The Bill? Are You Kidding Me!

Sen. Thomas Carper (D.-Del.), a member of the Senate Finance Committee, told CNSNews.com that he does not “expect” to read the actual legislative language of the committee’s health care bill because it is “confusing” and that anyone who claims they are going to read it and understand it is fooling people.

“I don’t expect to actually read the legislative language because reading the legislative language is among the more confusing things I’ve ever read in my life,” Carper told CNSNews.com.

Carper described the type of language the actual text of the bill would finally be drafted in as “arcane,” “confusing,” “hard stuff to understand,” and “incomprehensible.” He likened it to the “gibberish” used in credit card disclosure forms.

  3. This is an admission of the conspiracy against the people of the United States by the elites who control the Legislative Branch of our government.

  4. Good. Now that it's been admitted to, then when they vote on it, we can dismiss having to be bound to it, since it was done with ignorance and despair.
this totally voids the bill as passed.

  5. Sorry, my jaw is on the floor! For an elected official to deny us, his employers, the right to see the legal and binding language of the bill before it's passed because we "wouldn't understand" is grounds for firing the SOB.
We all read the "legalese" of HB3200 and understood it 100% just 45 days ago, and I don't think we've had any Kool aid since!
    Can anyone smell "revolution"?

  8. I can smell the revolution and it can't start soon enough. We need to get these idiots out of congress ASAP. What in the hell do they get paid for? Isn't it their JOB to read these bills and vote for the best interests of us (their employers)? They have perverted the constitution into a system where we work for them instead of vice-versa. It is unbelievable that these morons can get away with such incompetence and dereliction of duty on a daily basis. They should all be tried for treason and hung in the public square!

  9. When the legalese is written, they have an opportunity to slip in hidden sections of which NO ONE IS aware. After the vote we learn what was actually in the bill.

    Delaware, get rid of Carper!!!!

He is selling all of us down river.

  10. I will be doing my part in enforcing term limits in Delaware. Obama already helped rid us from some PA guy that was a Senator here.

We need to get these idiots out of Congress as soon as possible??? I can't agree with you more, but these idiots are the least of our problems. The real idiots that scare me are the idiots that keep voting them in office. Look what just happen when these "IDIOTS" came out to vote. Some how, some way or another the majority in this country allowed an idiot in the White House. They are the real idiots and it is scary.
