Salisbury Police Department Press Releases
On July 19, 2009 at approximately 12:23 am, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the area of West Isabella Street and Cypress Street for the report of a stabbing. Upon arrival the officers observed a male victim located on the six hundred (600) block of West Isabella Street. The victim was identified as eighteen (18) year old Garry Mosley. The victim had sustained a laceration to the abdomen and a puncture wound to the right upper chest. Mosley was transported to the Peninsula Regional Medical Center for treatment and was listed in critical condition. Salisbury detectives believe that the assault may be related to a party that the victim attended earlier in the evening. This investigation is continuing.

On July 14, 2009 at approximately 2:45 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department Community Action Team executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on the eight hundred (800) block of South Division Street in Salisbury. As a result of the search warrant, the officers located and seized a quantity of suspected marijuana, suspected marijuana smoking devices, and suspected marijuana paraphernalia.

Possession of marijuana
Possession of CDS/paraphernalia

On July 17, 2008 at approximately 5:28 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police received a call to respond to the Walmart Store on North Salisbury Boulevard for the report of a theft. Upon arrival, the officers were advised by Store Security that the below listed suspects had been observed attempting to take food, cosmetics and clothing items from the store without making payment. The stolen items were recovered and returned to the store.

On July 18, 2009 at approximately 5:02 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police were in the area of the Brew River Restaurant and observed the below listed suspect acting disorderly in the parking lot area. The officers attempted to calm the suspect and have the suspect leave the area but were unsuccessful.
