Incident: Leaving the Scene of an Accident
Date of Incident: 23 June 2009
Location: Twilley Bridge Road at Wango Road, Powellville, MD
Suspect: Male Juvenile, 17, Snow Hill, MD


Narrative: On 23 June 2009 at 9:02 PM, a deputy responded to a single vehicle accident on Twilley Bridge Road in the area of Wango Road. Upon arrival, the deputy located a vehicle that had run off the road, overturned and been left unattended. Investigation identified the driver as a 17 year old from Snow Hill. Upon making contact with the juvenile the following day, the juvenile was charged with leaving the scene of the accident.



The juvenile was charged on a juvenile referral and released to a parent pending formal action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

Incident: Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance
Date of Incident: 24 June 2009
Location: 2600 block of Old Ocean City Road, Salisbury, MD
Suspect: David Spencer Bennett, 30, Salisbury, MD



Narrative: On 24 June 2009 at 10:00 PM, a deputy responded to the parking lot of a convenience store located in the 2600 block of Old Ocean City Road to investigate a CDS complaint. The deputy, along with the assistance of officers from the Salisbury Police Department, located an individual sitting in a parked car in possession of oxycodone. Upon investigation, it was determined that the individual, identified as David Spencer Bennett, illegally possessed the drug without a prescription.



Bennett was placed under arrest and transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance Bennett was released by the Commissioner on Personal recognizance.

Incident: Assault
Date of Incident: 24 June 2009
Location: 400 block of N. Main Street, Hebron, MD
Suspect: Donnis M. Schentromph, 40, Hebron, MD


Narrative: On 24 June 2009 at 11:00 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to investigate an altercation that occurred inside a residence in the 400 block of N. Main Street in Hebron. Upon arrival, the deputy met with a victim who alleged that he had been assaulted by the suspect Donnis Schentromph. During the investigation of the assault, the deputy observed signs of physical injury consistent with that account.



Schentromph was placed under arrest and transported to the Central Booking Unit where she was processed and taken in front of the District Court Commissioner. After an initial appearance, Schentromph was released by the Commissioner on Personal recognizance.

Charges: Assault 2nd degree



Incident: Malicious Destruction of Property
Date of Incident: 24 June 2009
Location: Hebron Carnival Grounds, 200 S. Main Street, Hebron, MD
Suspect: Pending



Narrative: On 25 June 2009 at 0800hrs, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to the Hebron Carnival Grounds owned by the Hebron Volunteer Fire Department to investigate an incident of malicious destruction of property that occurred there overnight. An unknown suspect (s) spray painted several buildings on the grounds, causing them to become defaced. As of this time, the WCSO is actively investigating this incident. Anyone with information as to the identity of the individuals responsible for this act is asked to contact the WCSO at 410-548-4890 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776.
