what the heck is going on in Delmar? Why don't people keep an eye on their dog? It makes me crazy. Why have a dog if you can't take the time and energy to protect and take care of it? My dog is always on a leash and I would never let him out of my sight.
Thanks so much for posting these, Joe. Please keep up the great service you do for animals like this by posting such things. I feel so sorry for these animals. Wish I could take them all home!
The ones listed with numbers, does that mean the dogs have that particular registered number? I'm a little confused because that would mean they would know who the owners are. But, if that is not what the number is, then what is it? As far as Delmar, the town spent a lot of time putting together a new animal ordinance. It appears that (like most everything else) is not being enforced. Why go to all the trouble if you're not going to enforce it? Hire a FULL time animal control officer, one who wants to do the job and help protect the animals AND the citizens!

ReplyDeleteThat dogs ears are bigger than Obamas.
ReplyDeleteThe owners better go there soon because if they don't as cute as those dogs are, they will be adopted VERY fast!

The registered number is an internal number for the Humane Society, IN CASE YOU HAPPEN TO RECOGNIZE THE DOG!
ReplyDeleteThat poor brindle one in the first photo looks sooo scared. I just want to hug him and take care of him. People are really stupid and cruel.
