SALISBURY MAYOR TOHOLD PRESS CONFERENCE TODAY
Salisbury Mayor Barrie P. Tilghman will hold a press conference at 4:00 p.m. this afternoon (Friday, January 16, 2009). The intent of the press conference is to provide a briefing on the history and purpose of the Waverly Drive Stormwater project.
The press conference will be held in Conference Room 305 of the City-County Government Office Building (125 N. Division Street).
The press conference will be held in Conference Room 305 of the City-County Government Office Building (125 N. Division Street).
Isn't it very odd that every time Jim Ireton does something, the Mayor has a press conference or release hastily scheduled the day before. Remember the 4% Crime is down press conference the day before he announced. Now this on the Waverly outfall pipes... Does it make you wonder why Gary Comegys isn't doing any of this????
93 more days Folks, unless she comes out of nowhere and announces she's running again? Jim, take this as a compliment. You know, kinda like I just took it as a compliment that the Daily Times stole one of my articles today. It's cool, she's an Idiot too.
Smooth move BPT. Too bad you didn't think of it yourself.
ReplyDeleteBubba be in Baltimore, preparing to show his lapel pin to Obama tomorrow.
ReplyDeletePsycho Witch. Can't win in court of law and certainly can't win in the court of public opinion. I hope she freezes her wrinkled butt off. Ewwww imagine having to treat that butt for frost bite
ReplyDeleteAs full of hot air as that witch is, she would not get cold if you threw her butt overboard in the Hudson River.
ReplyDeleteIt's not being covered on PAC-14. Why not? Lack of transparency?
ReplyDeletePredictable Barrie--this is what she ALWAYS does; we should not be surprised. Have we not learned her methods yet??? She tries to pre-empt and if that does not work her Plan B is to retaliate. That's what Barrie does.
ReplyDeleteShe's boringly predictable.
Well, maybe Jim should schedule a press conference on "The Bricks." He should plan to talk about hiding ownership of nearby property in a maze of ALMOST untraceable paperwork. Barrie should find that easy to discuss.
ReplyDeleteDing Dong the witch is dead!
ReplyDeleteHey Barrie:
ReplyDeletejust blame it on:

ReplyDeletePlease make that a baker's dozen -- add Rachel Polk!
Thanks--glad I made that list; it's a privilege!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the surprize? We all know by now that Barry nor Gary can come up with an intelligent thought on their own, thus they must be a copy cat. They are just followers and now we see who they are looking up to for idea's just makes them look dumber and the opposition smarter.
ReplyDeleteIf I were Jim I'd do a reverse end around and handoff to Campbell. Come up with a rouse and rumors, let Gary and Barry suck it up and insert feet in mouths and hook both their lips like a fish Hahahhaa Maybe they can swap feet to insert in each other's mouth.
That would be the picture of the year! Get those photoshops going people, Barry and Gary trading feet in mouths ROTFLMAO She's got gunboats for feet however Gary's mouth will accomadate with room to spare.
I heard bubba and shanie are in deep doo doo for comments they made to the paper with no knowledge of what the case involved, unless maybe THEY were provided the info before the other council persons?
ReplyDeleteThey have possibly compromised the suit. Wouldn't that be great if they both had to resign? Place tim spies in bubba's chair where he belonged anyway, then appoint tim chaney to shanie's seat where he will be sitting anyway, and it all would be a dunn deal.
I want to congratulate Mayor Tilghman on her accomplishments to help Salisbury grow and be recognized as the hub of the Eastern Shore. A few outspoke critics have made a few of your days unpleasant but the majority of the public voted you into office and still are standing behind you.You can't please everyone and if you tried- nothing would ever get done. You are one grand lady and your expertise in leadership has enabled you to direct and persuade the citizens of Salisbury to support your many projects. I don't think anyone could have done a better job. It is a shame some of your same critics can't see any good in anybody except themselves. The Salisbury leadership and the old faithful residents know your good intentions.A job well done.

Don't forget Joe Scott and Von Siggers.
Heck, did she even have a friend on any of the city councils? It's just a matter of time before she would turn on Dunn, Cathcart and Bubba.
What a boring article in the Daily Rag about it. It wasn't even their typical puff piece for Dinglebarrie.

ReplyDeleteAnon 1:33 how very nice of you to support your mayor. I would have to say you are the only person left in Salisbury to say anything nice about her. To bad most of it is untrue.
ReplyDeleteI agree there are many of those pesky dirty dozen folks and I think they will be more vocal collectively this year in the state of the nation's economy LoL the more the merrier

So did anybody go to the press conference, or did she address another empty room?
ReplyDeleteWHY? No matter what comes out of her mouth it's completely worthless.

Barry,
That picture of the mare was a press conference on Delaware Avenue about the Rental Inspection sweeps and it was the last one conducted. The only member of the press that was there was Salisbury News. There were only a few city employes there as well.
By the way, what happened to those Rental Inspection Sweeps? No wonder this city is in bad shape, no one is doing code compliance anymore.
She looks like a cult leader or Satan!
