THE DAY AFTER THE SEA CHANGE
Sarah Palin has salvaged what without her presence would be another B.S. presidential election, with an outcome to be decided by which side does the most or best attack ads and negative stuff directed at the opponents. Sure, last night she pounded Obama and Biden, who devoted last week to bashing "McBush". And she sure showed in spades that we still have rugged individualists in America who are not part of the ruling elite composed mainly of lawyers and Ivy Leaguers. How long has it been since both members of the ticket have been outside that cabal.
Our left-leaning mainstream media has gone ballistic over this turn of events. At the conclusion last night, Gwen Ifill of National Public Television was visibly upset by Ms. Palin’s bare-knuckle and comprehensive thrashing of Obama, and today many network reporters and pundits were biting their tongues as they observed how she has electrified the Republican voters and many independents, not to mention more Democrats than they care to admit.
Look (and pray) for a continued barrage to be directed at Ms. Palin by the left, led by the media mavens. It will surely serve to swell and solidify that segment of the electorate who put Country First.

OCEAN CITY PREPARES FOR TROPICAL STORM HANNA
Ocean City officials met today to discuss preparations for dealing with Tropical Storm Hanna. The storm is expected to make landfall on the North Carolina shoreline early Saturday morning. Emergency Management personnel anticipate the effects of Hanna to arrive in the Ocean City area late Friday night or early Saturday morning. Forecasters believe Ocean City may see sustained winds of 30-50 mph.
The Town will experience heavy seas and rip currents. It is anticipated that we will receive no more than 3-5 inches of rain. The storm surge is predicted to be 2-3 feet above normal in the ocean, and 1-2 feet above normal in the bay.
Residents and visitors are asked at this point to begin preparing for the storm’s arrival by securing loose objects such as trash cans, lawn furniture, etc. Contractors are urged to secure construction sites and protect items that may be affected by high winds.
Ocean City is not currently under any tropical storm watch or warning. By the time Hanna reaches Ocean City, it will be a fast moving storm. It is anticipated that Hanna will be completely clear of Ocean City by early Sunday morning.

Another Dr. Nolte Disaster
Tater and TotFront Page About ← 1st Day of School
RIP Sweet Diva
September 4, 2008 · 1 Comment
For the past month Diva has been sick… throwing up … diharrea .. not as active pretty much just laying around mostly on my bed. Anyone who knows Diva knows she is a hyper dog who loves attention.. she greeted everyone at the door with kisses. We knew something was wrong so we took her to the “Trusted” vet Dr. Nolte … Mike wanted to take her there because he said thats where is momma took his dog Samantha ..so thats where we took her.. He said that it looked like she ate something other than food and it was stuck .. so he gave her two shots and gave me a bottle of antibotics to give her to control the high fever she had and hopefully that would help her pass whatever it was she supposedly ate. well after a week of meds and her not eating at all anymore and barely drinking anything , we took her back . He took some xrays and blood work. the xray (from what he says) said that she had a large mass the size of a baseball stuck in her small intesine and the blood work said she had an infection . She was soo skinny , she had lost at least 30lbs. she could barely get up on my bed anymore and everytime she went to get down she yelped. So Nolte said she needed surgery to drop her off wed morning and he would call us around 2pm. We dropped her off and he called at 2 and said that there was nothing he could do that she had a large tumur on her small intestine that we needed to come get her. ( I thought it was a little weird that we would have to come get her the same day she had exploritory surgery… I thought she would of needed care after the surgery) So when we got there to pick Diva up… Mike went in while I sat in the truck with the kids. Then this woman comes walking around the back side of the building .. i figure she was just walking one of the dogs .. and I was right she was.. I didn’t see the dog .. but Kamryn did .. She yelled out Mommy why is Diva bleeding .. why is there blood all over her??? whats that stuff coming out of her belly! I was like what?! This woman took Diva from the building walked her out the back door … sprayed her with a hose to get all the blood off of her and then made Diva (who just had major surgery) walk around the building! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Nolte didnt even wrap the entire inscision up .. they stuff that Kamryn asked what it was.. was some of her insides falling out in between the few stiches she had .. from where he didnt wrap her up all the way! We loaded her up in the truck and called another vets office and they told us to take her straight to the Pets ER .. That after surgery like that she needed to be medically cared for over the next 24 hours. That he should of never sent her home! I knew I was right! Then I realized why Dr. Nolte wanted the tech to take Diva out back and spray her down .. Im sure he didnt want to walk her thru his office out to where Mike was waiting for her because then all the other people in his office would see what he had done to Diva!! I wish we would of took her back in there for all of them to see! So once we got to the pets ER and explain what all had been going on .. They explained all of our options … We could of had them open her back up to make sure in fact it was a tumur and if it was they would take it out depending on the size of it and how much of the small intestine they would have to take out. She told us that we would have to pay 1200 down and after she opens her up and if it is a tumur .. the price to remove it depending on the size and all that it could of been up to 2 grand … and thats not including if she needs a blood transfusion … witch they said she probably would because Nolte hadn’t closed her up right and blood was everywhere all over my truck .. the side walk where we had been waiting for the pets er to open inside the office … it was bad. So since we don’t have money like that We were left with no choice but to put her down.. It was probably one of the hardest decisions for me… exspecially since I watched her be born in my kitchen almost 3 years ago…I’ll never forget it … it was really cold.. December 7th 2005. She was the only white one of the liter of 6 .. she was the only one who didnt yelp when she was picked up .. she would just lay there with you with no worries. as she got bigger she was the only pup who didnt constantly bark! So we explained to the kids (who I would of found a sitter for if I had any idea it would of been like that!) that Diva was really sick and had to go to doggy heaven… they both cried and said they didn’t want Diva to go with Poppop in heaven , that they missed her and wanted to take her home. It was really hard.. we all were in tears! I took the kids out to the truck and Mike stayed with Diva thru it all! I couldn’t do it! So we took Diva to my dads house and buried her and cried some more. It was the most horrific thing I ever had to see and go thru !
We are going to file a complaint against Nolte… We were told that he already has 6 lawsuits against him! After talking to a few friends they all said why did you take her there.. hes known to be a butcher.. And he sure did butcher Diva ! Someone should really take his license!!! And can you believe he takes care of the zoo’s animals???

Governor Kaine Declares State Of Emergency
– Authorizes state agencies to prepare for potential effects of Tropical
Storm Hanna –
RICHMOND —Governor Timothy M. Kaine declared a state of emergency today,
directing state agencies to take all reasonable actions necessary to
protect the health and safety of Virginians from the potentially damaging
effects of Tropical Storm Hanna.
"Current forecasts predict Hanna will bring tropical storm force winds to
Virginia, causing coastal flooding and the very real possibility of
tornadoes and power outages," Governor Kaine said. "Virginians should
listen to their local government representatives and local news media for
instructions for the duration of the storm."
In declaring a state of emergency, the governor authorizes state agencies
to identify and preposition resources for quick response anywhere they are
needed in Virginia. The Virginia Department of Emergency Management has
staffed the Virginia Emergenc y Operations Center with response team members
from several state agencies and other affiliated organizations. In
addition, the Virginia State Police, Virginia National Guard and Virginia
Department of Transportation have additional personnel on standby to
respond to areas in the storm's path.

HOW ABOUT M. STEELE LAST NIGHT
Straight Talk By Sarah Palin
These statements in her acceptance speech last night bear repeating:
"...in small towns, we don't quite know what to make of a candidate who lavishes praise on working people when they are listening, and then talks about how bitterly they cling to their religion and guns when those people aren't listening."
"We tend to prefer candidates who don't talk about us one way in Scranton and another way in San Francisco."

I Leave The Office For A Couple Hours And All Hell Breaks Loose
I just wanted to give everyone an idea of what this Blog takes to run every day. I went over to the Court House for a couple of hours and when I return there are more than a hundred comments/messages waiting for me to read. Now keep in mind, each and every one of them have to be read, accepted and or rejected and then I have to follow up with the tips from all the other messages that come in as plain e-mail.
Being one person moderating all of this and covering all these stories is certainly a task but it is one in which I truly enjoy because I know the information you're NOT getting from anywhere else is delivered to you.
Today I received 15 telephone calls while I was away as well and couldn't answer the phone. One of which was an Ocean City Newspaper asking permission to use some of my material. Of course I immediately agreed to allow them to do so. Opening up such dialogue is what will make ALL news and information better for everyone reading it.
So I'm not complaining. I'm simply showing you, Duvall, Michael and other Anti Albero Bloggers that we do have visitors by the many thousands per day and comments like there's no tomorrow. Heck, you could go 6 months on Duvall's Site and Michael's and not get this many comments I receive in 2 hours.
I hope you're enjoying what we're providing.
Leave My Little Chiefy Alone
"You know what Joe? We are a little tired of you throwing the police cheif under the bus. He has a right to drive around Salisbury anywhere he damn well pleases to. You follow Mike Lewis around trying to make him look like a hero.He has your camera stuck up his ass at every opportunity to make him look as if he is above all of the rest. He is doing his damn job which is what he is suppose to do. He loves all of the publicity and loves to have his picture taken. If you just tried to post some attractive news about the Chief it would put you in a deep depression. He doesn't give a shit about your stupid blog and you mean nothing to this community, so you keep dreaming and posting all you want about the cheif. With your talent, you could make a difference in this town but you choose to make your news negetive regarding our government officials along with others. Having said all that, why don't you be more effective because you surely are worthless."

Let Me Tell You What I Do Enjoy About Salisbury
Although traffic coming into the City is a bit troublesome, I never hear anyone honking their horn. I never see someone trying to ride the left lane and pop over to the right at the last second. I will even admit at this time, they have things synchronized well enough to keep things moving quite well during the busy time and considering I come from several big City's, I'm impressed and so should you.
Excerpts From Palin's Speech
On her experience as a public servant:
“I had the privilege of living most of my life in a small town. I was just your average hockey mom, and signed up for the PTA because I wanted to make my kids’ public education better. When I ran for city council, I didn’t need focus groups and voter profiles because I knew those voters, and knew their families, too. Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown. And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves. I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities.”
On why she is going to Washington, D.C.:
“I’m not a member of the permanent political establishment. And I’ve learned quickly, these past few days, that if you’re not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone. But here’s a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I’m not going to Washington to seek their good opinion - I’m going to Washington to serve the people of this country.”
On energy policies that the McCain-Palin administration will implement:
“Our opponents say, again and again, that drilling will not solve all of America’s energy problems - as if we all didn’t know that already. But the fact that drilling won’t solve every problem is no excuse to do nothing at all. Starting in January, in a McCain-Palin administration, we’re going to lay more pipelines…build more nuclear plants…create jobs with clean coal…and move forward on solar, wind, geothermal, and other alternative sources. We need American energy resources, brought to you by American ingenuity, and produced by American workers.”
On John McCain:
“Here’s how I look at the choice Americans face in this election. In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change.”
AND THE BOMB:
She quotes Harry Reid, the Democratic Senate leader, as having said, “I can’t stand John McCain.” Ms. Palin: “Ladies and gentlemen, perhaps no accolade we hear this week is better proof that we’ve chosen the right man.”
Speaking of Mr. McCain, “There is only one man in this election who has ever really fought for you.”
She goes on: “The American presidency is not supposed to be a journey of ‘personal discovery.’ This world of threats and dangers is not just a community, and it doesn’t just need an organizer.”
“America needs more energy — our opponent is against producing it. Victory in Iraq is finally in sight –he wants to forfeit. Terrorist states are seeking nuclear weapons without delay — he wants to meet them without preconditions. Al Qaeda terrorists still plot to inflict catastrophic harm on America, and he’s worried that someone won’t read them their rights? Government is too big — he wants to grow it. Congress spends too much — he promises more. Taxes are too high — he wants to raise them. His tax increases are the fine print in his economic plan, and let me be specific.”
“The Democratic nominee for president supports plans to raise income taxes, raise payroll taxes, raise investment income taxes, raise the death tax, raise business taxes, and increase the tax burden on the American people by hundreds of billions of dollars.”
“In politics, there are some candidates who use change to promote their careers. And then there are those, like John McCain, who use their careers to promote change.”
*****
Aiming directly at Obama: "“But listening to him speak, it’s easy to forget that this is a man who has authored two memoirs — but not a single major law or even a reform, not even in the [Illinois] state senate. This is a man who can give an entire speech about the wars America is fighting, and never use the word ‘victory’ except when he’s talking about his own campaign.
“But when the cloud of rhetoric has passed, when the roar of the crowd fades away, when the stadium lights go out, and those Styrofoam Greek columns are hauled back to some studio lot -- when that happens, what exactly is our opponent’s plan? What does he actually seek to accomplish, after he’s done turning back the waters and healing the planet? The answer, the answer is to make government bigger, and take more of your money, and give you more orders from Washington, and to reduce the strength of America in a dangerous world.”
You heard it here first: when they do their debate, BIDEN IS TOAST!

Sen. Biden’s Daughter Arrested In Altercation
Why isn't the media all over this?
Apparently this happened in 2002 and I agree that it's is a family matter so why doesn't the same apply to Bristol Palin's pregnancy?

Sen. Biden’s Daughter Arrested in Altercation
August 04, 2002 in print edition A-15
The daughter of Sen. Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-Del.) was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of obstructing a police officer outside a Chicago bar.
Ashley Blazer Biden, 21, of Wilmington, Del., was with a group of people on a North Side street where several bars are located when someone else threw a bottle at an officer, police said.
When police tried to arrest another person, Biden blocked the officer’s path and made intimidating statements, officer JoAnn Taylor said.
Biden was later released and is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 20.
Sen. Biden’s spokeswoman, Margaret Aitken, declined to comment, calling it a private, family matter.
Apparently this happened in 2002 and I agree that it's is a family matter so why doesn't the same apply to Bristol Palin's pregnancy?
