The Salisbury Police Department is on West Road right now where they were serving a warrant. The State revoked Parole and the suspect barricaded himself in the attic. He has quite a criminal history, (so I'm told) that includes armed robbery as well as an extensive gun history. More to come.........
UPDATE: The Suspect is now in custody, no problems.
UPDATE #2: It turns out it wasn't even the SPD, it was the WCSO. WHAT WAS I THINKING?
Put the turkey down and take two steps back with your hands in the air.
ReplyDeleteGet the turkey out of the attic. We need one more for the WCDC dinner tomorrow night.
ReplyDeleteTurkey-Roll sounds tasty.
ReplyDeleteoops !! There's a fire in the attic !!!
ReplyDeleteGood job men and woman of the s.p.d., I think you should all make more money.
ReplyDeleteFact checking. I know it's a novel concept but let's try it.
ReplyDeleteThe standoff was brought to a halt by the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, not the Salisbury Police Department.
As Steve Martin would say, Well EXCUUUUUUUUUSE MEEEEEEE! Lol
ReplyDeleteYou're 100% right though. West Road is in the City but since crime is down an alleged 4%, it doesn't suprise me that it's because the County is strongly covering the City of Salisbury. Thanks Sheriff's Department.
They need a raise to.
ReplyDeleteWest Road is county!!!
ReplyDeleteWest Road is City AND County.
ReplyDeleteThe roadway on west road from Isabella Street to Queen Avenue is in the city due to the fact that they had to annex it to run the water and sewer out to Sasafrass. The section 8 apartment complex next to the old Campbell Soup plant is also in the city. Otherwise everything else is the county.
ReplyDeleteHas the fire dept dispatched to the scene yet ?
ReplyDeleteGreat Work WCSO 200 on the scene SERT on Scene. Patrol doing what they do!!!! Great Job by all another wanted person living the criminal life because they are a wanted felon off the streets. Happy Thanks Giving to all. Joe you cant be right all the time it not easy being the fasest news in town.
ReplyDeleteJust to correct 3:36 - The Apartments next to the old Campbell Soup should NOT to be confused with Section 8. Please get your facts right before you comment. It is an affordable housing community. Ride by there sometime, the place is awesome!
