Salisbury Police Department Press Releases

On October 28, 2008 at approximately 1:15 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department made contact with the below listed suspect in the area of Fairground Drive. At that time it was found that the suspect was currently wanted on an outstanding Wicomico County Detention Center retake warrant. The suspect was taken into custody without incident.

ARRESTED: Samuel Antonio Milbourne, 20 years of age Delmar, Maryland
CHARGES: Wicomico County Detention Center retake warrant
DISPOSITION: Released to the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office

On October 28, 2008 at approximately 10:43 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department came into contact with the below listed suspect in the area of Tilghman Road. At that time it was found that the suspect was currently wanted on a Maryland Department of Corrections Parole Retake warrant. The suspect was arrested without incident.

ARRESTED: Holly Christina Parker, 29 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Maryland Department of Corrections Parole Retake
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On October 26, 2008 at approximately 11:01 pm, Officers of the Salisbury Police Department received a call to respond to the Sears store at the Centre at Salisbury for the report of a shoplifter. Upon arrival, officers met with store employees who advised that employees had observed the below listed suspect take items from the store without attempting to make payment. The suspect was apprehended and the store items were recovered.

ARRESTED: Denise Bell Smith, 44 years of age Salisbury, Maryland
CHARGES: Theft (under $500)
DISPOSITION: Released to Central Booking

On October 24, 2008 at approximately 5:32 am, Officers of the
Salisbury Police Department vice/narcotics unit executed a search and seizure warrant at a residence on the one hundred (100) block of Princeton Avenue. The below listed two (2) suspects were located within the residence during the execution of the warrant. Located during the search of the residence was a handgun, two (2) bb guns, several sets of digital weighing scales, quantities of suspected crack/cocaine, quantities of suspected marijuana, a quantity of prescription medication, and an amount of U.S. currency. There were no injuries during the execution of the search and seizure warrant.
