Steny Hoyer Sending Busload From Prince Goerge's Co. To Help Kratovil

Friends,

Senator Barack Obama has told us that "change doesn't come from Washington, it comes to Washington." Right now the polls show a 50/50 race in one of Maryland's congressional races where our neighbors will choose between more-of-the-same candidate Andy Harris and change candidate Frank Kratovil.

Join me this Saturday at 9:45 am in Parking Lot 1 of the University of Maryland for a bus trip to Baltimore County to volunteer for Frank Kratovil. The parking lot is large so look for the big yellow school bus. Directions from Greenbelt can be found here. Our own Majority Leader Steny Hoyer will be there to give us a send off as we embark to make change happen right here in Maryland.

Why is this so important? Maryland's First Congressional District has the best opportunity to send a democrat to congress we've seen in over a decade. The choice in this election is clear: a far-right conservative who supports Bush/Cheney/McCain or a strong, tested prosecutor who shares or values and will fight for working families across Maryland.

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and Majority Leader Hoyer have declared this race one of the best opportunities or democrats to expand their congressional majority in the entire country. It is very important that we show undecided voters in the First Congressional District what the choice is this November.

Please note the time has changed since last week's email. Please meet at 9:45 on Saturday. We can win this race but we need your help. Please join us.

Sincerely,

Justin Ross

  1. Joe,

I thought Frank Kratovil was from the Eastern Shore? I guess you were right. Kratovil is nothing but a Prince George's County Democrat that depends on $$ ONE MILLION DOLLOR $$ donations from Washington liberals for financing and buses for supporters!

    Thanks for posting,

  5. Love to hear Republicans whining about the same thing that they have done for years when it suited their purposes.

Next we will hear __itching & moaning that the Democrats have been registering voters, too.

To quote Tip: "politics ain't beanbag!"

  8. We don't need another lawyer in Congress! I think a doctor would be better suited to help us all with health care.

They have already had a democrat for ten years. It's time the republicans finally get represented the way we should have for the last ten years.
