"Wow!!! I never knew this website existed until this morning. I have received 3 phone calls telling me to take a look.
I can say for a fact that the police have done their job. Mr. Dunford contacted me this morning to blame me for being arrested last night for driving on a suspended license. Why did he call me.....because I am the mother of the children that he owes over $7,000 to for back child support. He has paid $15.00 in 14 months, that is why his license is suspended in the first place.
With the economy the way it is, I thank the police department for giving me and my children a little justice."
Please do not take this offensively when I point out the obvious-but if the man has no drivers license,HOW exactly is he supposed to have transportation to work to pay that child support arrearage. You said it yourself, economic times are hard.Helluva lot harder when you cannot drive. He should at least have a hardship license that allowes him to work. The stupidity of the Child Support Enforcement agency is glaring.Again no offense to the woman being owed money but THINK!
ReplyDelete12:09 PM You just don't get it, do you? The man is a BUM...he didn't pay when he was working (without a license)so why shouldn't there be some consequence for him being a dead beat dad?
ReplyDeleteExactely, take from his wages, take all his earnings, but wasting more tax dollars on putting them in jails that are over crowded or taking their license, I cant see where that resolves the issue.
ReplyDeleteDont take this wrong, it may not pertain to you but there are some who do not get support and milk the state, there are some who get support adn milk the state.
Then there are those who have kids to, you got it MILK the state. I was told that the reason some move to Maryladn is because they can Milk the state. I am told the reason most move to this country is to Milk the goverment.
Man we love milk, Got Milk?
12:09 has a wise comment-glad a female broke the ice first. The ex-wife reports she is very happy she received "justice" here, but in my experience (when you have little mouths to feed) that "justice" only entitles you to a Wendy's Double Stack (and even then, ONLY if you also happen to have 99 cents in one of your pockets...for a limited time, of course). Times are hard-and an arrest like this (how many law enforcement hours went into this situation while armed robberies and purse snatchings are occuring down there almost daily), with subsequent bad/wretched publicity (deserved or not) does nothing to help these children ultimately eat nutritiously or have warm clothing for winter.
ReplyDeleteblutojthetotmom,
ReplyDeleteAre you saying if a person can't drive they can't work? Certainly, he can't operate a taxi, but he can ride a bike to Walmart, Kmart, Sears, Etc. He can walk door to door with a rake in his hand offering to rake leaves. He could do a lot of things. Also, let's not forget that the Child Support Enforcement agency didn't take this action because he simply missed a payment. It takes more than missing one or two payments to be labeled a "Dead Beat Dad"! Something else to consider is that there may be ten more dads making an extra effort to make their payments because they know what happened to Paul D. Maybe they should consider "jail" and "work release"? That way he has transportation and he's entire check can be used to pay the back support he owes.
It's time for my two cents on this matter.
ReplyDeleteThe LAW is trhe LAW. If you or anyone else breaks the law, this is what we pay our Police Department/Officers for.
I couldn't care less what it cost you and I to lock one of these dead beat parents up, he allegedly broke the law.
Now, besides a law allegedly being broken, the alleged Mother stated he hasn't paid Child Support. I say, lock his a$$ up until he absolutely hates that place so much he'd never even dream of missing another payment.
Bluto,
ReplyDeleteHe's in the freakin CAB BUSINESS for crying out loud.
He can take a cab or even a bus wherever he needs to go.
This is the City of Salisbury, not the boonies of Viena.
I am glad that there is still justice in the world.
ReplyDeleteTo Reese Bobby, where are we supposed to draw the line? Let's not arrest shoplifters or arrest drug dealers? What level of crime are you suggesting we now call "acceptable"?
ReplyDeleteIf more Dead Beat Dads are prosecuted to the extent of the law, it WILL deter others. Antway you look at it, there is a level of deterancy when someone is prosecuted. Maybe he won't change, but some who know of him will.
Here is another side of the spectrum....my husband's ex decided to "disappear" with the children to another state. Child Support said the case was closed because they didn't know where she was...and he was WILLING to pay the child support. Several years later, she was found...and get this....my husband was told he owes all the back child support he would have been paying for the children had she stayed! We are fighting this, but just so you all know...sometimes when it says someone owes so many thousand dollars in arrears....there is another side of the story. You can understand why I am not signing my name. And sorry to get off the subject....but Child Support Agencies leaves a lot to be desired in many cases.
ReplyDeleteTo 12:09 pm
ReplyDeleteHe can get another job or he can walk to work , better yet , someone
should knock the hell out him .
Sounds like you are dead beat too!!!
Anonymous 12:46, think about this for just a minute.
ReplyDeleteThe COURTS have determined he IS a Deadbeat Father. The Courts took away his drivers license and the man CONTINUED to ignore and break the law.
I truly don't care who you are, a deadbeat father is a deadbeat father and he deserved to be arrested.
blutojtheotmom , they need to
ReplyDeleteset you down and and teach you a few things. IT'S THE LAW STUPID!!
He won't change! Let’s look at the big picture here. If he isn't paying his child support, what else isn't he doing? Is his cab insured? Think about that answer next time he cuts YOU off and causes an accident.
ReplyDeleteIs he helping with medical expenses for his children? Is he buying food or clothes for his children? The answer to all of these questions is a big NO! Because if he was, he wouldn't have been over $7000 in arrears to begin with. A guy like this should be in jail - Would you take a ride with him? or better yet would you let your children?
I posted at 12:46....in response to Joe's comment to me..
ReplyDeleteJoe,
I am all for this guy getting arrested....I am not condoning anyone breaking the law.
I was just stating not all men classified as "deadbeat dads" fit in that category.
Sorry if you misunderstood what I was saying. Sometimes the mothers are to blame for some of the madness.
Joe. I just have to disagree. Try to have the ex-wife go over to Delmarva Power and tell the (oh-so-always-friendly) people there that she will be avoiding disconnection because she is paying her bill with "justice." The world is full of assholes and deadbeats, but you can't sit back and rail against the City/County/State for not providing adequate officers (which they ARE guilty of), offer countless articles of outrage over unsolved violent crime (which there IS), or say "NO NEW PRISONS IN MY BACKYARD"; and then advocate for an actual "Reese Bobby" to be placed in the gulag (you know, the cell that SHOULD hold the guys who rob Royal Farms every other weekend)until he achieves divine insight and/or unblocks his chi. What people have done here is actually give this guy (who actually may be the biggest jerk in the world)a chance to use the moral high ground and shrug his shoulders while saying "I tried to work and even that wasn't good enough." The only thing he will learn while locked up is a way to perfect a sceme/scam to develop an illicit money stream to survive for himself where he will end up neither paying the child support, or any taxes. Just seems like bad strategy to me.
ReplyDeleteJust my 2cents worth. The law for non-support was and still is I think 10.00$ a day up to 18 months in jail. That's the way it was when I became a correctional officer back in the early 60s and still the same when I retired. The law is not enforced as vigorously today as then.I am like Joe lock their dead beat asses up.There in lays the problem of not using the law.
ReplyDeleteExactly RB.I understand now that he is a serious deadbeat but in all fairness how exactly does one work without a license? How will him being locked up benefit the children?
ReplyDeleteIt has been my experience in Maryland that the CSE only gives a damn about deadbeat dads if the mother receives state services-because it hurts them financially. Most women who do not receive services and have child support owed have to end up spending $$$ they do not have to hire private attorneys to make attempts to collect.Ask around....A dear friend and coworker of mine owed over 3 grand for her 2 kids had to BORROW more money from her parents to track down the dad and try to get her money.CSE would not help her.
If he cannot get a job, they will incarcerate him and put him on a road crew to pay off arrears but who exactly does that benefit? It takes the mother longer to get her money if the guy is making convict wages and he is taking up space in jail that could be better used to house someone else.
Stop having sex with losers.
ReplyDeleteRB I feel like Ricky Bobby-every comment I make I want to preclude with "With all due respect..."LOL
ReplyDeleteThis is the mom again. Just for the record. I do not milk the state for anything. Unless you consider having to go to the food bank from time to time becuase you don't have enough out of your paycheck to buy groceries.
ReplyDeleteI have worked full time at the same place for 15 years and I'm proud that I am able to take care of my children even without the fathers help.
As far as the comments about attaching wages, you can't attach wages on someone who gets paid cash (good career choice huh)
Bluto--he was working but NOT PAYING THE CHILD SUPPORT. Do you understand that allowing him to continue to drive with a suspended license will do nothing to help the kids? Even when he has an income, he DOES NOT PAY!!!!!
ReplyDelete1:28. I regret you are challenged in this regard. However,consider yourself somewhat lucky- you have already received at least $15 more from your husband than I received from my own "deadbeat father" during the course of my entire 18 year childhood. You are correct it IS hard to attach wages on a cash gig, but it is also hard (do I hear IMPOSSIBLE)to get an "above-the-board" job (with an official paper paycheck) if you have neither a valid driver's license or a clean criminal/credit record. This is the Catch-22 that kills this particular faulty thinking. The only genuine solution here is for the State to actually try to do something productive and offer the guy some vocational rehabilitation (would probably only cost as much, if not less, as warehousing him on our tax dime)so that he can develop skills to get and maintain "a real job." The further you push this guy out of productive society, the less likely you will ever be to see a single dime of your money. This is a fact-It sucks, but you need to go ahead and wrap your mind around it. Because your kids have now been caught in this dysfunctional cycle too, with neither emotional/financial support from their father, they are also more likely going to have their own emotional scars that will predispose them to falling into the same traps you guys faced as new parents years ago. Even if the guy is a complete dillweed-he may be a victim too. Somebody is going to have to help HIM get back on the right track in order for YOU to be helped. {With all due respect...}
ReplyDelete1246 you arent the only one in that boat. My ex disappeared for 14 years with our sone. After she is divorced 2 more times she files for welfare and they went after me for back support on a child I hadnt been allowed to see. Where is the justice in that?
ReplyDeleteLock the dead beat up.
Salisbury Fire is hiring. Get him a job there
ReplyDelete2:11. Why are you so outraged at "the alleged deadbeat?" Given the facts you report, it sounds like your ex-wife was the TRUE scammer of our tax money/dubious individual. Can we lock her up too?
ReplyDeletereese bobby
ReplyDeleteHis children are not the only ones he is screwing over. According to Maryland Judiciary under judgments and leins the courts have entered over $60,000 in back taxes.
I know this guy. He has skills to work a "real job" He once owned two business. Fist he owned his own business as an industrial insulator and then owned his own business as a powerwasher.
This guy just does not want to take responsibility for anything. I have to pay my taxes.
Just out of curiousity, for all those (which seem to represent a majority)who want to work on this guy with a ball-peen hammer and culinary torch until he suddenly shats 70K in non-sequential bills; IF the female McCain worker who allegedly accused individuals of false hate crimes (which only further flames feelings of hatred and unnecessarily divides our nation along racial lines...which is just b.s.)is found guilty-how much jail time should SHE get?
ReplyDelete2:44 PM speaks of $60,000 of back taxes, Paul Douglas Dunford OWES back taxes in the sum of $60,000. Just a little side note on that.
ReplyDeletePaul Douglas Dunford has 2 children at home, son age 11, a daughter age 8. They are great kids but their mother (refusing to take any help from the state) works full time and side jobs to take care of ALL their needs.
This winter she'll have to decide between putting the thermostat at 62 or an extra gallon of gas to get to work. She'll have to decide weather or not to provide full and complete meals or give them a decent Christmas. She'll have to make a lot of heartbreaking decisions because the fathter of her children, Paul Douglas Dunford isn't man enough to pay his support.
He owned the taxi service, he has money to give for support, he just makes a decision not to, and for that he will be punished.
He does not need a driver's lisence to keep and maintain a job, careerbuilder.com listed 104 avaliable jobs in the City of Salisbury, one of them has to be within walking distance.
The fact of the matter, Paul Douglas Dunford is a deadbeat father unwilling to help his children with food, clothing, heating, medical care, school supples, and any other essential. The man will be punished. I for one will stop at nothing to see to it that his children have justice. I will place a phone call to SPD or the WCSD everytime I see him driving.
PAUL DUNFORD! YOU ARE A DEAD BEAT!
As for the children's mother, you are a strong woman and you are doing your best to provide as best you can to your children, and for that in the end you will rewarded. Keep your chin up. You know you have a lot of people behind you that love you.
Again I will ask Reese and some of the others, at what point in crime do you want to start enforcement? To use your own arguement, we shouldn't put shoplifters in jail because they will just learn a better way to commit crime. Should we start saying, "Well..... He didn't hurt anyone too badly, let's just ignor it and it will go away!"
ReplyDeleteHow about this, put in a three strike rule, three strikes and you're locked up for life. As for over crowding, to use Reese's statement, tell the criminal "it sucks, get used to it!" Hell, stack them 5 and 6 tall in a cell. It's not supposed to be fun or a nice place! It's JAIL!
To the Mom, I guess you didn't learn your lesson the first time around with your other two children since you had the same problem with their Father.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I don't want to hear one more person say She left and took the kids... I couldn't find them to pay my child support" crap!
ReplyDeleteI have a friend who saw his child for one week, her whole life. The mother up and left he has no clue where she is... because he loves his child so much, he puts what he should pay in support away in a savings acct and one day whether that child is over the age of 18 or not, she will get that money. And that child will KNOW that her daddy cared about her and thought about her regardless the aweful things her mother tells her!
3:26. Arbitrary "three strike laws" and "mandatory minimums" are the types of bad policy that have our prisons already overflowing to the degree that even murderers/armed robbers are getting early release. Your outlook on justice/rehabilitation is the equivalent of your doctor excising a tumor with a fire axe instead of a scalpel. Laws and sausages are made in ways you might not ultimately like if you saw the process. For the record, I also support legalized gambling, and as a visitor of certain European destinations, decriminalizing prostitution and soft drug possession (well, there goes my mayoral campaign). Based on your feedback that we should "lock everyone up", I am sure you won't mind when your home's well runs dry because the new prison across your field is sucking up all your water so that their inmates can shower and wash their clothes.{And now that I answered YOUR question-how do feel about the one I ASKED YOU about the McCain worker?}Do you actually think responses like that of 3:06 will help this man ultimately find a job where he can do right by his kids? She/he has already confirmed in writing that they will stalk the man every waking moment until he violates the little-known Baltimore statute that it is illegal to take a lion to the movies (Google it yourself)!! If you are just that thirsty for revenge and want him cast down into the dungeon, just say it that way-but stop hiding behind the kids and give up trying to collect any cash from him. You just can't have it both ways here.
ReplyDeletereese bobby,
ReplyDeleteyou have some major issues. Has this issue struck a nerve. Maybe your guilty of the same.
4:18. Actually not, as I clearly indicated in a previous post I also had a "deadbeat father" (I never saw a nickel, let alone 7k plus)-you would think I would be calling for this guys head on a pike too. But based on my experience (as the screwee, not the screwer...and other career experience), this approach is just counterproductive. The standard you have to maintain here is "what is in the best interest of those children." This approach will only increase the feelings of hate they have for not just their dad (and likely the mother who was a prominent figure in this decision making), but society in general who they will perceive let them down. There are some times you have to lessen the chip on your shoulder to see outside the box on this. Let's all try to be bigger than this guy for the sake of his kids(I know you guys have bibles-find the chapters on forgiveness and being your brother's keeper and such). He may ultimately end up a fatally lossed soul, but we have to want to try to do the right thing here.
ReplyDeleteWhat's wrong 3:35? - - Hit a nerve?
ReplyDelete4:46. What is it with all the "nerve hitting?" Didn't this lowest common denominator of social discussion begin because someone allegedly got their panties in a wad because someone allegedly cut them off in traffic? I call them as I see them, and know none of the parties involved, but quite frankly if I dispense with my own diplomatic bullshit for a couple moments (because I am even making myself sick with my own liberal garbage) this whole thing boils down to a person with a grudge most likely stalking, and then anonymously reporting this guy. 3:06 has already confirmed that even if the guy gets out of jail in the future they are going to continue to stalk the guy until he does something else wrong. Mr. Wilkerson at 1:27 and Anon 3:35 have harsh, but real things to say. Just because we as commenters go against your perceived grain of reality and justice, isn't it better said that we are hitting YOUR nerve? If this guy is in fact such a perpetual, unredeemable scumbag, why didn't the mother cut her losses prior to 1) crawling into the sack with him to start with 2) exchanging eternal marriage vows with him in front of God and witnesses or 3)having a child (or at least the second one a few years later) with this underachieving "devil." Last time I entered a "tango contest," it took TWO names on the sign in sheet.
ReplyDeleteListen, I am 3:06, as a reply to all of this, I am not going to STALK Paul Douglas Dunford I am simply going to enforce the law set forth by our legislators. Would you not call in a bank robbery or a murder if you saw one in progress? The fact of the matter is that a crime is a crime is a crime, regardless of how small or innocent it may be. A crime is a crime!
ReplyDeleteAs for the person who started this whole thing, I commend you.
Just imagine if Paul Dunford was being even more negligent and caused a fatal accident killing a child or even worse your parents. I don't think you'd be on here singing the same tune. Driving in the State of Maryland is a PRIVILEGE, if you do something to take that away then it becomes UNLAWFUL to drive.
This is not being counterproductive, the man lives in the City of Salisbury, there are 104 jobs listed in the City of Salisbury, one of them has to be within walking distance. The man has owned 2 businesses not including the taxi service. He has failed to pay $7,000 in child support and $60,000 in taxes not because he wasn't able to pay, because he didn't want to. He doesn't need skills in a certain trade, he has them, he doesn't need any help from the state to become a more productive person, he has owned 2 businesses. He can afford child support, he can afford to pay taxes, he just choices not too.
This guy is a low life and not worthy of my tax dollars to feed him in a jail but to me 3 hots and a cot is justice for his children that he refused to support.
He doesn't have to worry a full and healthy meal, he doesn't have to worry about heat, he doesn't have to worry about housing, he doesn't have to worry about medical coverage, he doesn't have to worry about his clothing, he doesn't have to worry about anything, he is a money making citizen but instead of coming to the plate he'd rather be a piece of sh!t and not do what is morally correct. He doesn't have to worry about anything, well except me of course.
I look forward to calling 911 again. Next time I will have a camera when he gets arrested and hopefully Mr. Joe will post the pictures. :)
Oh, you know I will too. However, I posed photos of Comegys as a dead beat father and no one cared. The Idiots in Salisbury still voted for him anyway. Americans are getting STUPID and Comegys is perfect proof of such.
ReplyDelete8:05. Why don't you help the authorities find the (alleged) armed robbery suspect (that looks like Grossberger from "Stir Crazy")from these same pages who is on the lose instead? That is the guy I want to see in prison. You state "as for the person who started this whole thing they should be commended." Then you state later that you will call 911 AGAIN (while taking pictures) if given the chance-how will you call AGAIN if you weren't the one who CALLED TO START WITH. This is just sad behavior (derivative of Springer)that further hurts these kids. The funny thing is this guy is just an ordinary citizen (not a public official/figure) and if you end up going too far he is the one who may seek a judgment against you (which, ironically, he will most likely be able to actually collect because you, unlike him, are likely NOT judgment proof). Would it make you feel better if your daughter (I'm just guessing here) was finally able to get paid because this guy won YOUR house in a defamation lawsuit?
ReplyDeleteReese bobby, you are stretching words and looking for things that actually don't exist. LOL.
ReplyDeleteWhen I said I'll call 911 again, meaning it's been done before this time when I call myself I'll take pictures.
Hurting the kids? He is hurting his own kids. PERIOD, end of discussion.
I really really hope that SPD gives a press release and/or Mr. Joe can get a mug shot from WCDC. And post it.
I really really really look forward to Paul Dunford seeking judgement against me. I'm stating the facts, and reporting crimes, that is NOT illegal. Oh, by the way, tell me who I am... you can't.
My daughter? Do what?
As fun as it sounds, I am not here to play 20 questions on a lovely Friday evening...but I wish your children well, seriously.
ReplyDeleteReese, they aren't my children, I promise you that.
ReplyDeleteI am only 22 years old, the children in question are 11 and 8, Mr. Albero knows my true identity and he will tell you these are not my children.
You said you have better things to do on a Friday night but yet you SIT and respond to this NINE (9) times. Just 9 times. Instead of typing away on the computer find Paul Dunford a job, train him to be as good a typer as you so he can hopefully get a clerical job.
Your arguments don't hold water. You claim that this is petty and clogging our justice system, that argument; it's bullsh!t!
The bottom line to this story is that I am much more informed thanks to Joe Albero's website and now that I know the facts I will make sure that the mother and the children get whatever justice they can, I'll surely be on of the people delivering it to them.
I will stalk anyone I know who is a criminal. Paul Dunford is a criminal.
And now there are people all over Salisbury willing join together to make sure this small town mom and these small town kids get what they deserve! JUSTICE!
Let's be clear about this...
ReplyDeleteTo those of your whose exes made off with the kids, got your files closed, then got hit with thousands in support, I'm sorry. Please call your legislator and get the law to be changed to put the child support in an escrow account until the kids are found to receive the money or they turn 18 and it's returned to you.
HOWEVER, let's get something straight. Child support is NOT something parents get to decide to pay. A parent cannot waive the requirement for another parent, for example, if the paying parent hits hard times and needs a break. The court must decide any child support changes.
This is the law, and if a deadbeat parent does not pay, they are, in effect, in contempt of court and guilty of stealing from their children.
If they are not paying support due to loss of job, they go to the COURT to get arrangements worked out. If they are working and not paying, then...
Their a$$es belong in jail, period. The other parent isn't going to see the money anyway.
I think the courts should seize assets in addition to jailing. If they are not doing that, they should be.
Just my two cents. Anyone who doesn't support their kids when they are obviously financially able to is a scumbag and a lawbreaker.
Dude...you are only 22. I thought I was 10 feet tall and bulletproof when I was your age too-then the reality of adult life really tuned my senses to THE WAY THINGS ARE instead of the WAY THEY SHOULD BE. This debate obviously won't work because you are somehow too intimately connected to see objective feedback. If you read my comments carefully, and know I am not defending this guy's behavior, you would see that I survived a situation like this myself by working two jobs from when I was 16to pay for my vehicle, insurance gas and fun money (and believe me things were much cheaper back then). Although I "survived", I am in the minority here. I still know what it is like to be poor because of the over 40 year uphill struggle I have had while not having the benefit of a nickels from my own father-I will die poor (I will never live long enough to pay off my student loans). And quite frankly, I deal with severe anger issues at times because of the poor decisions made not only by my own father, but MY MOTHER (who thought she too was making good decisions) and her siblings who made the situation worse by fanning the flames of hatred which crippled my self-esteem and put me on the border of being a sociopath loser myself. I do not know exactly who you are, nor do I want to know, but take my feedback for what it is worth. Life is a terribly shitty experience when you are born with these types of barriers, but if you carry around that hate and anger it is going to destroy you-and if you fall apart after making a baby of your own, this cycle will just continue like bad Rambo sequels. Good luck to you surviving this with as little scarring as possible.
ReplyDeleteI was also raised by a single Mom (divorced) who got very little support so I am not condemning anyone but you can't have it both ways either. We want the deadbeat dads in jail but we also want them to pay what they owe.How does that work?Out of curiousity, does anyone know how far behind this guy is?
ReplyDeleteHe owes $7,000 beyond in child support and $60,000 and liens due to back taxes.
ReplyDeleteReese Bobby, he never once stated that he was 10 foot tall and bulletproof. You are once again imagining words that were never typed.
Anyone who is willing to point out what is wrong and willing to take out of their day to supplement the judicial system by tracking down criminals and reporting them are heroes in my book.
22 years old, he could be at home playing video games or being at home doing nothing at all. I think he is being a productive citizen.
