On August 21, 2008, Detectives of the Salisbury Police Department arrested 59 year old CHARLES WESLEY KILMON, Jr. of Easton, Maryland for a number of offenses related to impersonating a Maryland State Trooper. During the investigation of the homicide of Audrey Jurewicz, Salisbury Detectives received information from interviews with area prostitutes concerning a subject representing himself as a Maryland State Trooper in an attempt to gain sexual favors. Witnesses advised that the suspect would pick up the prostitutes, then would identify himself as a trooper. The suspect would kiss and fondle the victims, without permission, then release the victims from his vehicle. Salisbury Detectives released a bulletin concerning the suspect, who was ultimately located then charged with second degree assault, fourth degree sex offense, and impersonating a police officer.
The Salisbury Police were recently contacted by a witness with additional information concerning this suspect. For this reason, the Salisbury Police Department is requesting that anyone who has had contact with this suspect in which he represented himself as a police officer to contact the Criminal Investigation Division of the Salisbury Police at 410-548-3113. Okay Chiefy, we heard you the first time and you're onto, what? Where's the KILLER/MURDERER who killed Audrey Jurewicz?
Impersonating a police officer? That would be entire Salisbury Police Department!
ReplyDeletethe car i saw was a black man
ReplyDeleteLet me get this right? They had already arrested the suspect? Charged him with impersonating an officer and released him? Now they can't find him?
ReplyDeleteKeep busting them under aged drinkers so they don't grow up to be killer's philosophy, man that would even make Freud go cross eyed. Too busy to chase hookers and murderers because them damn college students like to party. Yup, just blame it all on them.
I heard the mayor say there are up to 90,000 people in this city during any given day, even if every police officer worked 24/7 with never a minute off that only provides one officer for every 1000 people. I've heard a former officer say that at times in Salisbury the city only had 8 officers patrolling on a whole shift, that's comes out to 11,250 citizens per street officer in a college town. Add the local prostitute and growing drug trade and here we are.
All we need now is a few more drive-by's, a few more hookers, a serial killer, and all the drugs you can eat and we can start singing that Marvin Gaye Song. Inner City Blues - Make Me Want To Holler. Some of those pencil pushers need to get their butts out of the chair and from behind the desk and hit the streets with the new officers. I'm sure the time will be well spent helping pass some knowledge to the new officers. They want to be police officers, their intentions are good, they need better leadership and most of all an increase in staff and pay.
Joe, here is an interesting story for you to post.

A 23-year-old woman claims that Captain Tony Sneed from DC Engine Company 4 raped her after she fell asleep drunk at a Chesapeake Beach house owned by Sneed's daughter.
A Washington, DC Fire Captain is facing allegations of rape after an incident that allegedly took place at a party in Virginia last month.
The 23-year-old woman claims that Captain Tony Sneed from DC Engine Company 4 raped her after she fell asleep drunk at a Chesapeake Beach house owned by Sneed's daughter.
Court documents claim the alleged victim was put to bed wearing a shirt and boxer shorts but woke up in only the shirt. The next morning, she was suspicious and underwent a rape exam.
The exam showed that she had had intercourse the previous night.
The court documents also show the victim sent some text messages to Sneed asking him why her body didn't feel right. He allegedly responded with several self-incriminating messages, including one stating:
"'I remember massaging your body trying to get you to relax a little, maybe I got a little carried away."
More than a week later, Sneed was arrested and charged with rape and two counts of sexual offense and assault
D.C. Fire officials would not comment but did confirm Sneed was put on leave and the case was referred to Internal Affairs.
Last year, a woman living with Sneed received a temporary restraining order against him for domestic violence charges. A permanent restraining order was denied because of a lack of evidence.
I see Sheriff Lewis is really concerned....he only wants to hear the good stuff...if it is a complaint...go to the duty sgt...if a compliment mail him a letter...
ReplyDeletehe has done alot of good, but wastes alot of money too...and is never there from what his own people say...always gone somewhere teaching...did we elect him to teach or just for this job to be a hobby from his retirement...or to be the Sheriff....

if the mayor won't approve the chief's request for more officers and council majority says we don't have a crime problem, how is that mike lewis's problem?
ReplyDeleteMy main concern is the police had the proposed suspect in custody. They know his identity, clearly they knew his habits and behaviors, yet they can't charge him and/or investigate this cold case any closer? Have there been any developments since 2020 regarding the Audrey Jurewicz case?
