Royal Farms Is Finally Coming To West Salisbury

There's finally some activity at the property on the South side of Rt. 50 in West Salisbury near the Bypass. For years their sign has stated they'll be coming in Fall of 2006, then 2007 and now it says Coming Soon. I've been watching construction equipment show up on the Site and it looks like something just might happen in the very near future.

I happen to think this is one of the most ideal locations I have seen yet for one of their Stores. All that traffic coming back from Ocean City heading West will certainly bring them a ton of business.

  1. Finally!! It's a fantastic location...I hope they do well there!
On a side note....I heard through the grapevine that Dairy Queen is coming to where they flattened the old Salisbury Pewter building on North 13....is this true??
And what is going on with the Sonic that is suppose to be going in Fruitland near Walmart??

  2. Looks like they took their money to the county and told the city to stuff it. Smart move.

  3. This is great for the Hebron area. Now we just need a few restaurants on Rt 50 and we will be fine. Chicken Man just doesn't do it for me!

  4. I hope Royal Farms puts a dent in Gordy's Tiger Mart at the edge of town.

  5. I understand that the delay in building the Royal Farms at this location was due to the County holding up the permits and something to do with the Health Dept.

  7. the delay was caused by many issues. some county some royal farms

check the zoning code. a gas station really should not go there. its in the paleo channel district.

they couldn't have underground tanks so skirted the issue by going above ground
