  1. I can't tell you how happy I am that I'm too old for this Club. I wouldn't want to ever be subjected to eating at Brew River for as long as I live.

  2. Isn't the age thing discriminatory? Why not invite everyone.

  3. Joe,

Trust me i dissented on this issue!

But still do not be swayed by Joe's comment and please come out for a brewski or just to attend. There is no obligation to have to eat food there.

    anon 12:38,

No, absolutely not. As a private organization we can include who we want to. It is open to all genders and races, but is oriented for the younger demographic.

Wicomico County has a Republican Club open to all ages that meet on the 4th Tuesday of every month.

  4. Considering that the young people have been given the shaft by the GOP, why would young people want to become Republicans??

If Bush had raised taxes to fund his wars and other large spending increases of his administration, then those costs would be shared by all. But the way it was done was a TOTAL SHAFT of the young.

The ENTIRE cost of the wars has been dumped on the young.

  5. Anon 3:53,

Many young Republicans, many who are traditional Conservatives, are leaning towards recapturing those classical ideals to help bring back our Country to its' prosperity!

It starts with the young individual to engage themselves within the party to improve it and guide it back towards what policies and virtues which promoted flourishment for all.

I'm not going to jump ship because the Democrats and Left do not believe in the same philosophical premises as I do. It is up to each generation of Republicans to adhere and keep our tradtions and philosophy alive! In stead of tacking on, we're having to rebuild a bit.

  6. "...we're having to rebuild a bit."

I agree. But the best way to rebuild is to expel the non-true-conservative parts of the GOP (e.g. all that is wrong with the Bush administration) is with an Obama win. A win by McCain will mean that true conservatism will drift for years in the wilderness.

What a moron to get on here and make an idiotic post like that!!! Obama a conservative, ROTFLMAO. You, my friend, need to seek the attention of a shrink.

The sad part of this is that some Republicans might fall for this crap. But then again they would be what I refer to as a RINO.

  8. You misread..

Obama is NOT a conservative, but neither is McCain. And McCain now represents all that wrong with the GOP.

Sometimes you have to go one step back to move two steps forward.

  9. Anonymous 4:46 PM, Obama reminds me of the D.C. Sniper, John Allen Muhammad. Nothing more than a terrorist.

    Notice the muslim terrorist names.

  10. "But then again they would be what I refer to as a RINO."

Yea... I'd say that any TRUE conservative is a RINO.

Is it OK to be outraged at where the non-conservative wing of the GOP had lead us??

If you fail to see the difference between Conservativism and Republicanism, then sure, just call us RINOs.
