OK, not for nothing but if you're going to advertise asking people to come visit the Salisbury Zoo, the least you could do is put up a photo of an animal that isn't DEAD!
What's meant here is, this is an OLD photo of the dead jaguar while he was still alive.
I agree that the Times should have shown some sensitivity here. A lot of people are still mourning the loss of that beautiful animal and it sets false expectations for visitors that they'll see that animal when it's clearly not possible.
Definitely a case of the Times saying "any old animal photo will do." The lack of class and anything resembling attention to detail at that rag never ceases to amaze me.
