Question of the Day?

Happy Saturday everyone. I am feeling out other bloggers and feel something is missing from Salisbury News. I would like to test the waters with a "Question of the Day." I will try it out for a few days. If you have a question of the day idea, please let me know. I will be posting the first trial shortly.

  1. What is your opinion on having a traffic circle installed at Carroll, Riverside, Camden, Mill intersection?

  3. The traffic circle in Fruitland isn't as bad as I thought it would be, but it's only one lane. It does work well there.

When I lived in DC what was crazy was people driving around a 2 lane round-a-bout and had people trying to make quick right hand turns from the left hand lane.

As much traffic that is at that intersection I doubt a one lane round-a-bout would work, a two lane round-a-bout there will create some fender benders for sure.

  4. Yes, yes oh yes! Also you know, while we are on the "wish list". Friday at 3:00 I was trying to get from RT 13 BUS South to RT 50 Bus. West and had to get in the left hand lane, turn left and then merge onto RT 50 Bus heading west. Traffic was backed up about 8 cars waiting for the green arrow. We have always thought that was the dumbest way to get to RT 50 from downtown and swear the designer hated us over here on the EAstern Shore. Now that you have opened that can of worms, I guess this will be the end of this topic.

  6. Almost all of us agree that politicians lie to the public, here is my question:

Why do we believe they lie only about the small stuff?
