The Salisbury Fire Department Lease Purchase Agreement

The figure you see on line 6 does not reflect the purchase of the property and other major expenses. The grand total is under $10,000,000.00.

Did you speak in opposition to it at any City Council meeting?

If no, then forever hold your peace, pal.

  4. This was passed back in 2006, under award of bids? Seems to be somewhat unusual to have a lease agreement in with award of bids, to me? I wonder if Debbie knew what this was for? I too am surprised that she was involved.

  6. Joe let it go man, the station is done it is in use, you will go crazy if you keep this fight up. Find a good fight like teachers pay, underpaid and overworked, help stimulate the economy. and before you teacher haters jump on board don't bitch to me you could not do my job at my pay.

  7. Oh, don't get me wrong. You are right in the fact that the Station is done and now in use. However, informing the people reading this Site is what's important to me.

My exposure of such is NOT to close it down. Get a grip. It is to expose certain Officals running that Department as well as the leaders of the City in the decisions they made at Taxpayers expense.

Obviously you're one of them because my Posts affect you so much. Should have done it right and in the open up front, that's all.

Now given, we don't see all the details of this arrangement, which is suspicious.

Let me play the good: In 20 years, if the station is unusable because it sank, or the quality is bad, the city can 'give up' the station without any further cost. This could be cheaper than paying for the whole thing "upfront" with bonds.

On the bad side, we don't know the details on this deal. The devil really can be in the details

Look teacher, let it go man, the education system in this county is done it is in use, you will go crazy if you keep this fight up. If you don't like your job find another one or go to Worcester County. Where else can you go to work and have your entire Summers off and get paid. Where else can you go to get a job with great benifits and holidays. Where else can you go to get a job that gives you "professional days" off.

Joe I am a taxpayer and I am sick of what happened to the city with this $10,000,000 mansion in the ghetto. Don't let it go. Please keep reminding the public abour how they got raped by the mare and bubba.

I am also sick of the teachers and the lawless teachers union. If that idiot wants you to drop it then tell him to move on. Teachers in Wicomico County are nothing more than glorified baby sitters or correctional officers of the kiddy warehouses.

Thank you for continuing to dig into this situation. It will pay off before you no it and the mare might be leaving the city in handcuffs.

  11. 2006 was during the Dunn, Comegys, Cathcart and Shields regime. I would bet it went down as a 4 to 1 vote as many other failures of the city went. Old Mall, the Hearne annexation. Debbie tried to get legally, properly worded attempts to make sure what really happened, didn't happen. Too late now, thanks for trying Debbie.

Dunn, Comegys, Cathcart and Shields, sounds like the riders of the four white horses in ready for the apocalypse. Can't take it with you mentality.

  12. Just because Debbie second the motion to discuss, doesn't mean she actually voted for it. It was a second to discuss it. Show me the vote count.

Bend over, please. While the city does it's "thingy".

Something bubba (the real moron, here) would say.

  15. It would MAKE NO DIFFERENCE if you do speak against anything at a council meeting, apparently!
