Boy, 6, Found With Two Loaded Handguns At School

RANDALLSTOWN, Md. (AP)- Baltimore County police say a 6-year-old boy has been turned over to his parents after he was caught with two loaded handguns at Randallstown Elementary School.

According to police, the boy was detained after a 9 millimeter Kahr handgun fell out of his pocket in a classroom. A search of his backpack turned up a 40-caliber Glock handgun.

Police say both weapons were fully loaded, each with a round in the chamber.

It is not known if juvenile charges have been filed.

This was sent to me in an e-mail with no credit as to where they received it.

  2. that is why Maryland should have a liberal "right to carry" law like Delaware and Virgina. What if he shot your kid at the Mall and no one was there. teachers should also be armed!

  3. Sheez how things change. I WENT to Randallstown Elementary School from K to 6th grade.

I was scared to death that I was going to get caught with the fake poop I bought at Spencer gifts. Apparently gross gags are nothing now.

Article is confirmed by the Baltimore Sun.

  4. Is "anonymous" CRAZY? The problem is that a 6-year-old had access to two loaded guns. HOW WILL GIVING TEACHERS GUNS HELP WITH THAT PROBLEM??? Please be more concerned that the parents/caregivers had two loaded guns that were NOT locked up and out of reach of the children!!

  5. Turned over to his parents? Are these the same parents that didn't know he HAD two loaded handguns? I see a problem with this picture!

  6. I agree that the fault lies with the caregivers/parents and that is where blame should lie. As to the possibility of charges, the state of Maryland presumes that a child under the age of 7 lacks the mental capacity/intent to cognitively, with malice aforethought commit a "crime". Send the parents to jail!

  7. Parents should go to jail! Do not
    collect $200.00 for passing go!
The parents should not have any children in their home!

  8. School bullies were probably picking on the little fellow. His father who had probably been drinking said ,shoot the SOB's.That would definitely send a message to bullies.

  9. I can't believe this. I never let my son take anything larger than a 22 cal. while he was at Pinehurst. Even Bennett middle he only got to take a 9 mm. He could not take the 40 cal. Glock to school until he got in JMB, then only one gun at a time.
