If you listened in on the link I provided the other day for the audio of Monday night's Council Meeting, even though Debbie Campbell & Terry Cohen did everything in their powers to break up one large resolution to include funding for that Pond, the City admits they had $3,270.00 for partially funding a Dog Park? It makes no sense, does it? Who made that decision to come up with those funds?
Joe:
ReplyDeleteYou just don't get it -- a dog park is the perfect solution for Salisbury's gang, drugs and crime problems. Get with the program.
Besides, who really cares about hydrilla.
PS: is Wilber's new home on that pond?
are you seriously this backwards? really? i mean, come on joe... we need a dork park. we really do, for you!
ReplyDeleteget over it lamo... a dog park would be nice, excellent for people and another cool thing to do out of the house... lots of people around here have dogs, it would be fun, and just get over it, its going to happen
This is so true. I will probably be afraid to even walk my dog in the dog park because of the druggies and perverts hanging out there. So much for the dog park!

ReplyDeleteRight on, let's do another double digit tax increase and have a whole bunch of dog parks. Call your pal Gary ("I'm paid to vote") Comegys.
Wanna know why Salisbury is in deep doo-doo:
ReplyDelete"We're very excited about the possibility of having a dog park established in the City Park," said City Manager John Pick.
In terms of idiocy, spending "Open Space" money for this is worse that using it to purchase that land on the west side of Salisbury for another park.
ReplyDeleteThat just shows the mentality
ReplyDeleteof the mayor and whoever!!
I may not agree with everything you say, but I agree that there shouldn't be a dog park. By the way, why is the director of the Wicomico County Humane Society, involved in the plans for a CITY dog park?
ReplyDeletewhy should there no dog park? give me 5 good reasons. honestly. 5 good ones.
