So Why Are ALL The Other Local Media Sources Ignoring This Statement?

Dave Winslow is in charge of the Salisbury Waste Water Treatment Plant. When someone in his position tells you they won't drink the City Water because it's contaminated, shouldn't everyone be warned and alarmed?

This is exactly why I created this Blog and it is also why it has proven to be such a huge success. Similar to the threats in the High School recently, the local Press covered up the story, even though I had proof something was going on.

Now the City of Salisbury is paying for bottled water because the water, even at the WWTP is contaminated. Well, I guess the word will continue to spread that even though you may not agree with every story here, sbynews at least delivers you rock solid information you obviously won't get anywhere else and that's what draws so many to this Site.

I personally see NO reason at all why everyone else clammed up about this. It's the City's own document they cannot hide, unless perhaps someone in the City is telling them to shut up?????

  1. Joe, it says it had contaminated water in the past. Does this mean it is no longer contaminated? How long ago was it? Are they still buying bottled water? Please get the whole truth for us. Thanks for your ongoing commitment to improving this city.

  2. Think of all those decades-old pipes under the City streets (crumbling and made from guess what). Anyone who is smart knows not to drink that water.

  3. This is a very bad situation, if the city water supply is contaminated and they are not telling the citizens about the problem. I don't really understand why it would be contaminated, since we supposedly draw our water from the aquafer below our city. Of course that could have been contaminated with the overflow problems at the WWTP, I guess. Best you boil the city water if you have to use it, or buy bottled water to drink. I sure hope we can get to the bottom of this and let everyone know where we stand on our water supply, before we all get sick from it.

  6. We need Erin Brokovich! DO we need to take our city water samples to an independent lab to have it tested? Seriously?

  7. Anyone and everyone that lives within 300 yards of the WWTP should have their water tested. I know I would.

Would you pay millions for a home on the river and the water is not fit to drink? What's so good about living on a river that is sometimes used as a septic tank?

Even if you don't eat the fish you have to touch them to release them. I wouldn't ski on that river let alone go for a dip.

  8. Do you need to ask that question? Taking water samples is something that would be on my list of things to do first thing Monday morning. Don't trust Barrie Tilghman and her load of BS. That woman wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and slapped her in the face.

Why do people continue to trust or believe her. It baffles me.
