Bret Baier DESTROYS Biden Spokesman After Showing Inability to Answer Basic Questions

Before he similarly grilled Trump 2020 Communications Director Tim Murtaugh, FNC’s Special Report anchor Bret Baier conducted a master’s class Thursday night in interviewing Biden campaign national press secretary T.J. Ducklo.

How did Baier do it? Unlike CNN and MSNBC, Baier asked basic questions that sent Ducklo into repeated tailspins, accusing Baier of being a stooge for President Trump. While his condescending and juvenile demeanor might have made CNN proud, it wasn’t pretty and further bolstered the reality of how both Biden and his aides have adopted a basement strategy and avoided tough questions.

From the start, the nearly seven-and-a-half-minute interview went off the rails as Baier led with this basic yet substantive question: “I want to start with what the former vice president specifically would have done at the end of January had he received the briefing that we know now the President received January 28.”

While it could have been a chance to show voters what Biden would have done, Ducklo cited statistics about the U.S. caseload and death count compared to the rest of the world, touted the Bob Woodward book excerpt, a study about lockdowns, and falsely claimed Trump called COVID “a hoax.” Note how none of that concerned what Biden would have done if he were president.

US Prosecutors in DC Put Racial Politics Above Safety of Black Residents

D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser last week unsuccessfully tried to shift the political blame to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the District of Columbia for the violence that she drew to the city in June by ordering the words “Black Lives Matter” painted on a city street. Her stunt failed when the U.S. attorney rebutted her claims with facts, as we pointed out here.

Now, 32 black assistant U.S. attorneys in the District’s U.S. Attorney’s Office have banded together to write a strange, 10-page policy memo to their boss—who happens to be white and a Trump appointee—that they say is meant to address “internal and external racial disparities” of the office and to “repair the relationship between the [office] and the community.”

De Blasio says Madison Square Garden, other NYC sports venues should pay more taxes

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Monday that he supports calls to compel the owners of local sports stadiums, including Madison Square Garden and Yankee Stadium, to pay more taxes to aid the city’s bid to bounce back from the coronavirus pandemic.

De Blasio, a Democrat, was asked at his daily press briefing to respond to a letter last month from nine lawmakers on the New York City Council who called for the Garden, Yankee Stadium, the Barclays Center and Citi Field to pay property taxes. The mayor said he hasn’t seen the letter and was unfamiliar with the legal specifics, but supported the concept of requiring New York’s local teams to increase their contributions.

“Let’s be clear – sports franchises have gained incredible value over the years,” de Blasio said. “They clearly have the resources. I think the history in this city and pretty much all over the country was stadium deals were not good deals for the public, by and large. Some of the more recent ones have been better, but mostly they haven’t been that good. Everything should be reevaluated especially at a point when the city is going to need resources for our recovery.”

Weed falling from the sky! 2020 is finally looking up

In a blessed bit of good news delivered this morning, apparently cannabis is falling from the sky in Tel Aviv.

Reuters and local news outlets have reported that a drone dropped packets of green leafy material from the airspace over Rabin Square, a prominent gathering spot in the Israeli city, on Thursday afternoon.
‘The time has come’

It’s unclear whether the plastic packets of weed contained actual marijuana—but the symbolism and purpose was clear. “The time has come,” said the Green Drone pro-legalization group on its website. “Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s the Green Drone sending you free cannabis from the skies.”

A report on Inquisitr said: “One of the men, identified only as ‘Mr. K,’ had previously said that it was his patriotic duty to rain down cannabis on the country, considering the bad mood that Israel has been in of-late.”

US bans Chinese products believed to be made by forced labor

The U.S. government on Monday announced an import ban on some items from China that it believes are produced with “state-sponsored forced labor.”

U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued five withhold release orders on Tuesday, which are issued when the agency has reason to believe products imported may be made in whole – or part – by forced labor (including convict labor, child labor and indentured labor).

As a result, these products, are not allowed to be imported into the country.

The products are manufactured in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region and include certain hair products, apparel, cotton exports and computer parts.

“By taking this action, DHS is combating illegal and inhumane forced labor, a type of modern slavery, used to make goods that the Chinese government then tries to import into the United States,” acting DHS deputy secretary Ken Cuccinelli said in a statement. “When China attempts to import these goods into our supply chains, it also disadvantages American workers and businesses.”

Welfare, Tax Rules Keep Working-Class Americans from Marrying, Experts Say

New report shows 'marriage penalties' fall hardest on the poor

The design of long-standing welfare programs likely keeps numerous working-class couples from getting hitched, a research report released Thursday by the American Enterprise Institute argues.

Those couples might otherwise get married and provide the empirically validated benefits of a married two-parent home to their children, report author and AEI scholar Bradford Wilcox argued during a Thursday panel appearance debuting the report.

Instead, Wilcox and co-panelists noted, thresholds for eligibility for certain welfare programs and tax credits only let couples access them if they keep their incomes separate, discouraging marriage. That, research further shows, perpetuates a now-yawning "marriage gap" between rich and poor, in turn perpetuating the cycle of poverty.

The report, in other words, argues that government policy has both stood in the way of marriage formation and perpetuated socioeconomic inequality, highlighting a policy concern that could galvanize lawmakers on both the left and right to act.

Reopening indoor dining at 25% capacity ‘just doesn’t work’: New Jersey Business & Industry Association president

As New York City restaurants gear up to reopen indoor dining at a quarter capacity, New Jersey Business & Industry Association President Michelle Siekerka said the coronavirus-induced limitations have proven to not be enough.

“It just doesn’t work,” she told Fox News’ “Your World with Neil Cavuto.” “Many restaurants remain closed because they didn’t have large capacity to begin with. And then complying with an executive order that limited them to 25% would be a money-losing proposition.”

Siekerka said New Jersey’s $18.2 billion restaurant industry provides more than 228,000 jobs. But only 23% of employees out of the 87% laid off in March have returned to work, which she pinned as a “huge struggle” for the industry.

Soros Fuels Massive Effort to Win Women Voters in Battleground States

Liberal billionaire George Soros is funding a multimillion-dollar effort to turn out women voters for Democrats in battleground states.

Supermajority, a progressive women's group, is launching a $10 million campaign targeting women voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. Its super PAC is funded almost entirely by Democracy PAC, which is fully funded by Soros. Of the $2.5 million Supermajority has raised so far this cycle, $2 million came from Democracy PAC, Federal Election Commission records show.

Supermajority is just one of the many election projects that Soros has bankrolled this cycle through the Democracy PAC. The financier has pushed $50 million into the Democracy PAC, which is then passed off to liberal groups such as the Nancy Pelosi-linked House Majority PAC, the Chuck Schumer-linked Senate Majority PAC, Planned Parenthood Votes, and the dark money group Sixteen Thirty Fund.

YouTuber livestreams himself taking poop on Nancy Pelosi’s driveway

No Justice! No Pee?

The video, titled “Poopalosi,” had garnered more than 19,000 views Sunday night.

In the footage, a man who identifies himself as “Armando” walks through the streets of San Francisco in search of the speaker’s house. Once there, he sets up a camera across the street and stands on what appears to be Pelosi’s driveway for several minutes, eventually saluting his viewers before squatting down to poop on the pavement.

After walking out of the frame, he says, “That was for President Trump.”

"LOCK HER UP" - ANGRY PROTESTERS DEMAND HILLARY CLINTON BE LOCKED UP FOR GOOD

Patriotic Americans who attended president Donald Trump’s rally in Nevada chanted, “Lock her up.” The chant was for Hillary Clinton who should be Rotting in jail already, because of her numerous crimes against Americans and humanity as a whole.

President Trump was met with the chants after he called Hillary Clinton a chronic “criminal.” This chant was common during president Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

“You know, it’s true … She got a subpoena from the United States Congress, right, and she and her lawyer deleted 33,000 emails after she got a United States subpoena,” said president Trump.

President Trump also attacked former DNC leader Donna Brazile for feeding debate questions to Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential debate.

University of Pittsburgh scientists discover antibody that 'neutralizes' virus that causes coronavirus

Scientists at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine have isolated “the smallest biological molecule” that “completely and specifically neutralizes” the virus that causes coronavirus.

The antibody component is 10 times smaller than a full-sized antibody, and has been used to create the drug Ab8, shared in the report published by the researchers in the journal Cell on Monday. The drug is seen as a potential preventative against SARS-CoV-2.

According to the report, the drug has been “highly effective in preventing and treating” the SARS-CoV-2 infections in mice and hamsters during tests. The drug also reportedly does not bind to human cells, which suggests it will not have negative side-effects in people.

Netflix ‘Cheer’ star Jerry Harris under FBI investigation for allegedly soliciting sex from minors: report

Jerry Harris, who appeared on the popular Netflix series “Cheer,” is reportedly being investigated by the FBI for allegedly soliciting sexually explicit photos and sex from minors, according to a report from USA Today, which cited multiple sources, on Monday.

Per the outlet, FBI agents reportedly executed a search warrant at a home in Naperville, Ill., as part of the investigation.

"The FBI is conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity in that area," Siobhan Johnson, a special agent public affairs officer, told Fox News in a statement on Monday. However, the FBI would not elaborate on specifics and did not name Harris.

The statement continued: "Department of Justice policy prevents the FBI from commenting on the existence or nonexistence of any investigations that may be occurring. There is no further information at this time."

Pollak: Democrats’ ‘War Room’ to Kill the Filibuster Aims to End the Republican Party

Democrats are becoming increasingly open about the fact that they intend to kill the Senate filibuster if they win the elections in November.

News reports Friday revealed that former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) — who took the first step by killing the filibuster for some presidential nominees in 2013 — is supporting the effort.

Nuking the filibuster should be the “first item of business,” Reid said.

The filibuster rule requires a supermajority — 60 votes — for the Senate to close debate on any particular bill and move to a formal vote. It is a rule that prevents the Senate majority from passing whatever it wants without at least consulting with the minority party. It has been a force for moderation, and has encouraged dialogue between the parties.

While both sides have been frustrated with it — and President Donald Trump has said Republicans should get rid of it — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has retained it, knowing the GOP will not govern forever.

But Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has hinted that he would support removing the filibuster, if Republicans oppose whatever Democrats want to do. That has given a green light to radicals within the party to begin their plans — and advertise them.

Rising GOP Star Madison Cawthorn's Opponent Once Tweeted About Breaking Republican Necks

If you’re a conservative who’s politically aware, you probably already know who Madison Cawthorn is.
The paralyzed 25-year-old upset the White House’s pick for the Republican nomination in North Carolina’s 11th Congressional District and spoke at the Republican National Convention.

He’ll be running to replace White House chief of staff Mark Meadows in a district that, while it still leans GOP, has become slightly more Democratic after it was redrawn to include more of the city of Asheville.

This is what his Democrat opponent has to say about Republicans.

Trump slams Democrat fundraising platform ActBlue after it was revealed $346M in donations came from untraceable 'unemployed' donors and asks 'money laundering anyone?'

President Trump on Saturday alleged wrongdoing after a conservative group claimed a major online platform used to raise money for Democratic candidates and causes solicited funds from a large pool of untraceable donors who claim to be unemployed.

The Take Back Action Fund says it has analyzed computer data that shows almost half of all donations made to ActBlue in 2019 totaling some $346million were done by people claiming to be unemployed, according to Fox News.

‘After downloading hundreds of millions of [dollars in] donations to the Take Back Action Fund servers, we were shocked to see that almost half of the donations to ActBlue in 2019 claimed to be unemployed individuals,’ Action Fund President John Pudner said.

Man arrested in Georgia linked to remains of woman found in Baltimore backyard

A man has been found and arrested in Georgia in connection to a killing in Baltimore where a woman was found stabbed and stuffed in a bin in her backyard.

On Sept. 3, the remains of Mason Moldoven, 28, were found inside a large plastic container that was hidden in tall shrubs in the backyard of a house in the 1100 block of Gorsuch Avenue.

During the course of their investigation, homicide detectives identified Timothy Callanan, 26, as the suspect. An arrest warrant was issued charging Callanan with murder.

On Saturday, deputies from the McIntosh County Sheriff's Office arrested Callanan after a high-speed pursuit on Highway 95 in Georgia, police said.

Members of the Baltimore Police Warrant Apprehension Taskforce and the U.S. Marshals Service assisted with tracking Callanan to Georgia.

Callanan was transported to a detention facility in Georgia where he is currently waiting for extradition back to Maryland.

Trump says suspect in ambush shooting of LA sheriff’s deputies ‘must be hit hard’

President Trump called the suspect in the ambush shooting of two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies “animals” as he continued a three-day swing through western states to push his law-and-order platform.

“Animals that must be hit hard!,” the president posted on Twitter early Sunday morning after a campaign speech in Nevada.

And in another Tweet, Trump said if the deputies die the suspect should receive the ultimate penalty.

“If they die, fast trial death penalty for the killer. Only way to stop this!,” he said.

Trump’s Democratic challenger Joe Biden also addressed the shooting, calling for the shooter to be “brought to justice.”

“This cold-blooded shooting is unconscionable and the perpetrator must be brought to justice,” the former vice president wrote on Twitter. “Violence of any kind is wrong; those who commit it should be caught and punished.”

He also said that he and his wife, Jill Biden, “are keeping the deputies and their loved ones in our hearts and praying for a full recovery.”

The two deputies were reportedly clinging to life after being shot at point-blank range through the window of their patrol car on Saturday in Compton by a lone gunman.

South Dakota attorney general reported hitting deer but actually killed man, investigators say

South Dakota Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg reported hitting a deer with his car on Saturday night but actually killed a pedestrian whose body was not found until the next day, state investigators said Monday.

Ravnsborg's office has said he immediately called 911 after the accident on a rural stretch of U.S. Highway 14 and did not realize he had hit a man until his body was found. The Department of Public Safety issued a statement Monday that said only that Ravnsborg told the Hyde County Sheriff’s Office that he had hit a deer and did not say whether he reported the crash in a 911 call.

The man, who was identified as 55-year-old Joseph Boever, was not found until Sunday morning. He had crashed his truck in that area earlier, according to relatives, and was apparently walking near the road toward it.

The Democrats’ partisan damage: Goodwin

First, it was the United Arab Emirates and Israel making peace. Then it was Serbia and Kosovo agreeing to set aside political disputes to sign an economic deal. And now Bahrain and Israel are set to sign a peace treaty.

The last month has been a remarkable one for the Biblical injunction to turn swords into plowshares. Most dramatically, the number of Arab countries recognizing Israel’s right to exist has doubled, from two to four, a leap that is reshaping 75 years of Middle East politics before our eyes.

These breakthroughs were brokered by President Trump and his administration. It is an extraordinary record of peacemaking, yet in too many circles, it is being treated as a sideshow without significance.

Naturally, The New York Times took the low road, insisting Saturday that the deals show Trump trying “to position himself as a peacemaker before the elections in November.”

So being an actual peacemaker doesn’t count because the Times spies a personal motive?

In the same vein, talk of the president getting a Nobel Peace Prize is instantly dismissed. Over the dead bodies of the world elite will Trump be so honored.

Fulton woman's smile among 30 chosen to appear on Lay's bags

Say cheese!

While face masks may prevent us from seeing each other's smiles, one Howard County woman's smile could be coming home in your shopping bag.

Lay's launched a "Smiles" campaign in which people nominated someone who is spreading joy. One of the 30 people selected was Tracy Quisenberry, of Fulton.

Quisenberry owns Icing Smiles, a nonprofit that creates custom cakes and treats for families who have a child suffering from an illness.

Lay's will drop the new bags later this month.
