Bret Baier DESTROYS Biden Spokesman After Showing Inability to Answer Basic Questions

Before he similarly grilled Trump 2020 Communications Director Tim Murtaugh, FNC’s Special Report anchor Bret Baier conducted a master’s class Thursday night in interviewing Biden campaign national press secretary T.J. Ducklo.

How did Baier do it? Unlike CNN and MSNBC, Baier asked basic questions that sent Ducklo into repeated tailspins, accusing Baier of being a stooge for President Trump. While his condescending and juvenile demeanor might have made CNN proud, it wasn’t pretty and further bolstered the reality of how both Biden and his aides have adopted a basement strategy and avoided tough questions.

From the start, the nearly seven-and-a-half-minute interview went off the rails as Baier led with this basic yet substantive question: “I want to start with what the former vice president specifically would have done at the end of January had he received the briefing that we know now the President received January 28.”

While it could have been a chance to show voters what Biden would have done, Ducklo cited statistics about the U.S. caseload and death count compared to the rest of the world, touted the Bob Woodward book excerpt, a study about lockdowns, and falsely claimed Trump called COVID “a hoax.” Note how none of that concerned what Biden would have done if he were president.

  1. Destroys?

Did we watch the same news clip? I just watched it... I don't see any destroying, I DID see a "journalist" with an agenda try to get the Biden campaign to say things that they didn't mean.

I don't blame Fox though, it's all of them, just as dirty as the next, with dirty questions positioned as gotchas. No media is interested in the truth, they are interested in gotcha moments for ratings.

Actual positions and nuanced arguments are never achieved with binary yes or no questions. They are preying on the fact that most Americans are too lazy or stupid too see past their charade.

    1. Easy to see you are a damorat because you blame things on the right for doing what the left does and does well. Maybe if you watch the clip again you will understand.

    2. 7:23- Nice try, Libbey. That pipsqueak got wrecked! Dodged every question, just like always. It was not a good look for whatever that idiot's name is.

    3. 7:23 Lol just like Donna Brazile right? He got wrecked you know it and the world saw it. Is being willfully ignorant part of the criteria to become a liberal? If so I think you’ve got that down pat ;)

  2. They have nothing.

Biden has gone from being a once a week act in the Democrat sideshow to being just a big banner over the tent, the kind with little smiles cut in the fabric so the wind won't push it over.

The main act is in the tent, Obama's hoochie-coochie political lovechild, Kamala Harris, who can still mouth a hot topic tagline but can't seem to follow up with a clear thought.

  3. Baier shredded Ducklo. T.J. ended up looking ridiculous and absolutely would not answer the questions. This is a failed campaign and obviously grasping at anything. The DNC IMO is losing it over a decrepit POTUS candidate and a radical left winger who couldn't move the delegate needle when she was in the fray. Someone is padding the polls...I sure don't believe them.

  4. I haven't seen Biden or his campaign actually answer ANY questions directly. Just like this interview, as soon as they are asked a question it's "Trump this, Trump that". Dodging and deflecting because they don't have answers for anything.

See how they stack up to votes on November 3rd.

Nah... I don't see it that way.

The Biden camp can't justify the assertion by answering the questions. It allows the other side to control the narrative. It it frustrating? Yes. Is it both sides just playing politics? Yes.

These kind of questions are like asking someone "when did you stop beating your wife?" Any answer to it, you loose.

BTW, I'm a Conservative, and Republican... and the truth matters. The right wing media can spin this however they want, and their parrots will squawk the same tune.

At the end of the day, the truth is that the questions were designed to be hit pieces, and the guy answered the exact way he should have when they are playing politics.
