Former Republican presidential candidate John Kasich is set to endorse DemocratJoe Biden at the Democratic National Convention next month.
The Associated Press reported that Kasich, the former governor of Ohio, is among the high-profile, disaffected Republicans that the Biden campaign is trying to bring in as a way to eat into President Donald Trump's base.
Trump, meanwhile, hasn't done much to expand his appeal, as he's leaned into culture war issues, like support for the Confederate flag, telling 'Fox News Sunday' host Chris Wallace that the symbol isn't racist.

A good move. When Trump is done the Republican Party will have a major rebuilding job ahead of it to regain white, educated suburban voters. Fortunately for them they’re dealing with the DNC.

ReplyDeleteKasich's career is on the express down elevator. IIRC, he didn't even carry Ohio in the 2016 primary.
In his first paragraph, he'll remind the virtual audience his dad was a mailman (which is a real job; no dishonor there).
Find something else to spend your time on rather than listening to Kasich drone on. He's taken the 30 pieces of silver and hopes for an appointment if Slow Joe prevails.
