Alaska Stand Reopens

Alaska Stand

The Alaska Stand will reopen tomorrow serving what has brought people back to us again and again, for generations—delicious burgers, hot dogs, fries, cold drinks, ice cream, and more, offered up with gratitude for your patronage. Society needs mending. This has been a difficult time for everyone. EMPATHY. PATIENCE. RESPECT. The Golden Rule goes a long way. Come enjoy a day at the Beach. Stop by to say hello. Come hungry. We can fix that.

  2. So good to hear that this iconic OC business is back open!
Yes, this crowd was rude beyond rude. I heard it for myself on a few trips to the boardwalk.
    I would've just closed, too.
But make no mistake, this is also about lack of employees, at that location and many, many other businesses in OC.
This will be the next big crisis in Ocean City: The lack of J1 employees. Mark my words.

  7. OC now has a reputation for putting up with the thugs and their behavior so they can have them. This Black Lives Matter BS, is just that, BS. Sorry, but nothing in OC is worth possibly getting beat to a pulp.

  8. I think it was great that the Alaska Stand shut down for a while! NO ONE needs to be treated the way they were, and that's exactly what they said. They didn't say they were closed forever. Ya'll are just evil! This is their livelihood, and their employees need their jobs! I just hope they refuse service to anyone who isn't respectful. THAT is exactly what is needed. Kudos to the Alaska Stand!

  9. There are a couple of mean idiots on this thread. I wonder what it feels like to have no one care about you? Clearly, that's their problem. Failures at every turn, and abhor the success of others! Talking about you 6:49 and 9:12.
