I'm Hearing Governor Hogan Smacked Down Mayor Meehan's Reopen The Beach/Boardwalk Order

People are contacting me left and right saying Hogan stopped Meehan from reopening OC to visitors outside the island residents. I haven't been able to find anything on it, have you?

  1. Why doesn't Hogan the Horrible just shit his ENORMOUS pie hole?

    1. Because you won't. He has a job to do, let him do it. No one said you had to like or agree with it.

    3. What job - sucking up to Democrats like worthless Obama and Annapolis. Don't think for one moment that this isn't all about Hogan and his career.

  2. Dispatch said the narrative picture someone placed on Facebook was a hoax.

So many mixed messages someone within City Hall should have expected the UNEXPECTED. That's why they are voted into office. To REPRESENT and SERVE the PEOPLE.

  3. I have heard that there is a run on Thrashers French Fry stand at 1PM on Saturday from the onslaught of visitors that have been turned loose. Only time will tell.

If only I could get a haircut from my oppressive leaders!

    1. I have a sneaking suspicion that the mayor of ocean city re-opening the beach and boardwalk has everything to do with thrashers french fries in my honest opinion. They tried two weeks ago to do curbside service but after so much backlash they put out a statement saying "dur to inclement weather we decided against opening" and that saturday was beautiful.

    2. Trashers French Fries! Ha. Are you mad? Trashers is following suit like everyone else. There's alot more pull elsewhere than Trashers.

  4. Please people get the story straight. Meehan NEVER EVER "reopened" OC to visitors. As as matter of fact the order states in plain English permission is NOT being given for people to come to Ocean City. IN my life I've never seen more dunces when it comes to this pandemic and issues related to it.

  6. I heard straight from tricky Ricky it was completely a hoax, matter of fact the Governor agreed to the request during the phone call last Friday. This is a fact!

  12. The only dunces I see is people who believe politicians. Not knowing the real score, comments made are only conjecture. Yes, I mean you 6:21 because you sound like a liberal who doesn't have a whole lot on the ball yet is some yokel like Meehans' butt buddy'

Yes, I mean you 6:21 a blind mouse who's only place on Earth is in the circle of people who can only spout shit they've heard from the political spin doctors who try to cover up things they've screwed up and paint over.

Yes, I mean you 6:21, a dolt the same as Biden yet refusing to acknowledge the lack of input to arrive at a viable solution to any problem.

Before you lay the dunce card at the feet of those who do have the mental capacity to explore other variances of evidence as to its validity I'd want to explore your credentials
in past crises and what the outcome, doubtfully positive, was.

Again 6:21, the only dunce I see here is you.

  15. Out of area and non locals will have to buy a access permit for access to the beach and ocean. The cost of the permit is to negate the costs of lost revenue to the town of Ocean City and will in effect also limit the number of visitors.
The beach access permit for non locals is $50 a person and is good for 4 hours. You also must mark out a 10 foot square in the sand for social distancing.
This goes into effect June 1st.

  16. 8:30 I wouldn't know meehan if I fell over him I am far from a liberal I have more on the ball and am way more intelligent then you could ever hope to be and don't you forget it. What I state if fact whether you want to hear it or not. A dolt? A blind mouse? Hardly. I would list my credentials but you would think I was bragging One thing you can bet on though is you nor anyone is your circle is or will be ever as accomplished as I am. I will say my net worth well into the 8 figures speaks for itself not including my "estate" worth 6 mil and I own a cent to no one. I am no fooled by no one including you. You are the dolt who can't even comprehend what they read and your idiotic long winded say nothing comment proves this. The fact stands meehan never reopened OC to visitors. Don't bother commenting back. You are dismissed I am done with low information peons like you who have wasted a your life being low information and believing everything you read or hear

  17. Have you heard about the Facebook page STORM OCEAN CITY? Supposedly encouraging another H2O situation!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Just a rumor. It's open to all.
Thrashers will be open for sure. (The six-foot-space line may stretch to Assateague Island, but they will be open.)

By the way, until someone tells me how walking outside on the beach is more or as dangerous than hanging around inside Walmart or Home Depot, I'm good with the reopening decision.

    1. OMG you are stupid. If they serve food, they can be open for carry out. Please tell me how Rita’s is open to serve Italian Ice. Please explain how Dunkin Donuts is open for carry out of coffee. Lastly, please, oh wise one, enlighten us how Dumsers in West Ocean City is open. They are walk up services that serve a food product...that’s how. Are you telling me that Thrashers does not have a restaurant license and is not subject to health department inspections as a result of that license? Wow...just admit you are wrong and stop making ridiculously stupid statements. I can GUARANTEE you they will be open.

    2. Hey 9:51....are your finally ready to admit you are wrong? People are standing around eating Thrashers fries RIGHT NOW!! According to YOU, they wouldn’t be open. Come on...admit you were talking out of your butt and know NOTHING about what you were taking about. You are what’s wrong with this country. Someone who has no idea what they are talking about so, to get attention, you make crap up. I wish there was a way to revoke your ability to post. What is your next “made up” fact? Loser

    3. Yep...got thrashers today!

  21. 8:39 "butt buddy?" Really? No need to be crude and perverted. This is a public site not a porn site. It only shows your lack of any class and an upbringing by trashy people. If you were raised by decent people you would know better Shame on them What garbage raised you.

  23. Mayor, excellent decision!!!! Keep up the good work, doing your best to save OC, under the Governor's tyrannical orders.Just some quick common sense numbers, Maryland population approx. 6.08 million/27,117 confirmed covid19 cases equals .44% of the population infected with symptoms enough to be tested. 6.08 million/1290 confirmed deaths from covid19 equals .02% death rate per population. Worcester County (WC) 42 active cases (80 total)/52276 population equals .08%. SO, you have .08% of WCC population holding back 52276 people, REALLY!!!!!!! WC 80 total cases of covid19 807 people tested in WC, which means 1 in 10 test positive the rest have the flu or something else going on. If your scared, stay home, be the sheep, keep your aluminum hate on and continue to watch CNN and MSNBC to justify your fears, they will do that! The rest of us with enjoy freedom and liberty.

Thrashers is owned by one of the wealthiest people in town.
Thrashers owner puts a TON of money into the State's coffers via taxes.
Thrashers (I'm guessing) probably donates the max amount allowable to political elections.
Thrashers is an icon of the famous OC Boardwalk.
Because of all that, Thrashers will be open.
