CNN invites 9-year-old girl who identifies as transgender boy to ask question at town hall

A 9-year-old girl who identifies as a transgender boy received applause from presidential hopeful Elizabeth Warren, along with the town hall audience, after asking Warren how she plans to make transgender students feel safe:
“My name is Jacob and I am a 9-year-old transgender American…What will you do in your first week as president to make sure that kids like me feel safer in schools and what do you think schools need to do better to make sure that I don’t have to worry about anything but my homework?”
After more applause, Warren answered the 9-year-old by slamming Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos:

Barbra Streisand Shares Photo of Nancy Pelosi Killing Trump

Left-wing actor and Grammy-winning singer Barbra Streisand posted a photo to Twitter early Saturday depicting a bloodied President Donald Trump being impaled by the heel of a shoe with the word “Pelosi” emblazoned on it.

The timing of the posting is palpable, coming after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and Congressional Democrat leaders protested and then walked out of a White House meeting on Syria on Wednesday.

President Trump called the bipartisan meeting after a House resolution, passing with a 354-60 margin, denounced his decision not to order the U.S. military to engage against the Turkish after their attack on the Kurds in Syria.

Don’t Be Surprised If Trump Is Never Impeached

Yesterday, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced that the House of Representatives would not move forward with a vote on impeachment any time soon. The statement comes as a month of pressure has built up behind efforts to unseat the president over a phone call with the Ukrainian president. While Democrats insist, contrary to precedent, that they do not need to hold a vote, their unwillingness to hold one may show the impeachment train is skidding off the tracks.

In the giddy early days of the “impeachment investigation” over Ukraine, Democrats saw the polls move in their direction. But those polls have now stabilized and in some cases crept back against impeachment. Even at the peak, impeaching and removing the president was only popular among those who already opposed the president.

So as the groundswell subsides, could Democrats really reverse course and abandon an impeachment that just last week seemed imminent? Surprisingly, yes, they could.

Dr. Strangesсhiff, or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Impeachment

Who could have guessed that the words of Soviet secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria to Joseph Stalin, "Show me the man, and I will show you the crime," would be strangely embodied in American politics and jurisprudence in the 21st century? Moreover, according to Dr. Strangesсhiff — congressman, chairman, and commissar — these wonderful words have recently found their way into the U.S. Constitution.

Secret impeachment would seem to be a new idea, but the curious Dr. Strangesсhiff borrowed it from the closed Soviet trials of dissidents, "enemies of the people," and other "undesirable elements."

Bravo, comrade Strangesсhiff! Please, continue the Orange Man trial behind closed doors. After all, the American people are ecstatic about closed hearings without access by journalists or lawyers. They are also especially fond of the removal of the president based on an anonymous gossip-monger, or two, or three. The number of blabbers is not important, since the transcripts of their testimonies will never be published (not because they are not there, but because that is exactly what the intent was).

LAST NIGHT 10/18/19 ON STEPHEN COLBERT SHOW FEATURING HILLARY & CHELSEA CLINTON

This was sent in by a viewer..........

I recorded this show and viewed it this morning it was true to form Hillary. Where she finds the guts to speak on air about the impeachment of Trump. When her own husband former President Clinton was charged with impeachment and had relations in the White House with a student White House staffer age 19 at the time, and tried to say it never happened. This is appalling on any way you look at it and will always remain as part of this country’s history and the office of President and Chief of the Armed Forces.

Her daughter to talk about what a great lady her Mother is and how much she respects her is understandable on a personal level. But this is a daughter raised in the White House who saw and heard first hand what her father did and his impeachment verdict. And in recent times to know that her mother received a call on her mothers phone as Secretary of State a cry for help from 4 Americans being threatened with murder in Bengazi and refusing to take the call or even answer questions till 2 days after their murder. And like Bill Clinton they do not accept any part in what they have done and will deny it till they go to their graves cannot be compared to Donald Trump our current President who gets very little respect. Put it in context and weigh it people this is treason at the highest level.

Against impeachment, protesters urge Congress to 'let Trump do his job'

Hundreds of pro-Trump protesters gathered in front of the U.S. Capitol on Thursday to show support for President Trump and demand that Congress stop the impeachment inquiry that's moving at breakneck speed through the House of Representatives.

The "March for Trump" rally, organized by the pro-Trump group Women for America First, started at Freedom Plaza before marching to the Capitol Building's West Lawn. On a brisk fall day with a gusty wind that lifted dozens of pro-Trump flags held by protesters dressed in red, white and blue, speakers and attendees extolled Trump's successes and railed against impeachment depositions that have been taking place at the Capitol all week.

"There's so much negative news about Trump and the great and wonderful things he's done for the American people," Linda Morris, who had driven from Delaware to show her opposition to impeachment, told Fox News. "We want our voices heard."

Hanoi Jane put on another good show during a climate change protest on Friday. The 81-year-old actress was arrested on Capitol Hill, along with fellow actor Sam Waterston.

The two star in the Netflix series "Gracie and Frankie," which is currently between seasons, giving Fonda plenty of time to waste both taxpayers' money and valuable police resources. Fonda has vowed to get arrested every Friday for the rest of the year to protest against climate change. Last week, she was arrested on Capitol Hill and charged with "crowding, obstructing, or incommoding."

Scientists 'discover two more' of the seven warships lost in the Battle of Midway using deep sea robots in the middle of the Pacific Ocean

Deep-sea explorers scouring the world's oceans for sunken World War II ships are investigating what they believe could be the third ship of seven lost to the Pacific during the Battle of Midway.

Hundreds of miles off Midway Atoll, nearly halfway between the United States and Japan, a research vessel is launching underwater robots miles into the abyss to look for warships from the famed Battle of Midway.

Weeks of grid searches around the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands have already led the crew of the Petrel to one sunken warship, the Japanese ship the Kaga.

Hillary Clinton Attacks Tulsi Gabbard and Gets Absolutely Wrecked In Response

After CNN pretty clearly tried to handicap Tulsi Gabbard at the Democrat primary debate earlier in the week, she’s been the topic of several stories. Apparently Gabbard trying to go for the jugular against Elizabeth Warren got the attention of Hillary Clinton. She chimed in during an interview to take a very direct shot at the Hawaii Congresswoman.
Hillary Clinton doesn't just predict the Russians will support Tulsi Gabbard as a third-party candidate; she also calls Jill Stein "a Russian asset -- I mean totally."
Full context:
Hillary’s spokesman would go on to confirm she was talking about Gabbard later in the day.

The Chaos Of Baltimore Explained, How The Descent Into Hell Continues

By now, you should already know that Baltimore City is imploding on itself. The housing market has stalled, millennials are trapped in overpriced rowhomes, and widespread violent crime has taken over the region.

The deteriorating situation in Baltimore is nothing new. It started in the late 1950s when deindustrialization began, and white flight of the 1960s/70s/80s sent hundreds of thousands of Baltimoreans packing their bags for the suburbs. From the late 1950s to let's say today, the city's population has collapsed from 960,000 to around 600,000.

The city is a hollow out shell of something that was great, and also is an accurate depiction of our country at the moment.

U.S. Diplomat: I Raised Concerns About Hunter Biden's Ukraine Work But Was 'Rebuffed'

Hillary Clinton had a private unauthorized email server from which she did all of her official business as secretary of state. The nation’s top diplomat under Obama was using an unsecured server. She might have mishandled classified information. As the 2016 Democratic nominee for president, that’s a story. For 2020, it’s also a story if there was a conflict of interest between the vice president of the United States and his son serving on the board of an energy company for which he has zero experience in such a field.

The Democrats have tried to use this phone call President Trump had with Volodymyr Zelensky in July as their casus belli to launch an impeachment inquiry. They allege that Trump threatened to withhold aid unless Ukraine opened a corruption probe into Hunter Biden, son of Joe Biden. The White House released a transcript of the call, none of this was mentioned. There was no Tony Soprano shakedown. It’s an even shoddier narrative than the Russian collusion myth.

And yet, as much as the media wants to dig into the palace intrigue of the Trump-Ukraine non-troversy, Joe Biden’s name keeps coming up. Why? Well, there could be something here. why was Hunter on the board of Burisma without having any experience in the energy sector, being paid $50,000/month while his dad was still VP. Sounds like an access point, right? The Biden camp has been abysmal responding to this story, which has only increased scrutiny. Biden’s answer at the most recent debate was garbage as well. Someone on Fox News (it was the radio so I couldn’t get the name) pretty much nailed the campaign’s line: we did nothing wrong, but we’ll never do it again.

Why Has There Been A 56% Increase In Suicide Among Young Americans In Just 10 Years?

It is very hard to face the future when you don’t have any hope. Today, our society offers more ways to entertain ourselves than ever before, but it offers very little hope. Most people spend most of their lives wandering from one thing to another looking for meaning and purpose, and of course most of those journeys come up empty. We may have a much higher standard of living than any other generation in history, but we are also have the highest rates of addiction, depression and suicide. As a society, we are deeply, deeply unhappy, and this is especially true for our young people.

In fact, a report that was just released discovered that there was a 56 percent increase in suicide among Americans from age 10 to age 24 in just 10 years
Suicides and homicides are on the rise among children, teens and young adults in America, according to a new report that highlights what experts say is a disturbing trend among the young.

The report, published Thursday by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, found that from 2007 to 2017, the rate of Americans ages 10 to 24 who died by suicide rose by 56 percent, from 6.8 deaths per 100,000 persons to 10.6.
Is anyone out there going to argue when I say that it looks like what we are doing for our young people as a society is definitely not working?

Massive car collection seized from owners of bankrupt DC Solar up for auction

An incredible collection of nearly 150 classic and modern cars is coming up for auction, but they each come with a conflicted history.

The cars were seized by the feds from the owners of DC Solar, who have been accused of running the bankrupt solar-powered generator company as an $800 million Ponzi scheme.

Jeff and Paulette Carpoff haven’t been charged with any crimes as of yet, according to the U.S. Attoney’s office, but their situation remains under investigation. In the meantime, the Carpoffs and the Department of Justice agreed to hold an interlocutory sale and put the proceeds into a seized asset account, rather than continue to incur expenses for the storage and maintenance of the vehicles. The sale is being handled by the U.S. Marshals Service and Apple Auctioneering Co. in Woodland, Calif.

Trump knocks Romney as 'Democrat secret asset' in new video

President Trump tore into Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) in a new video posted to Twitter that accuses the Utah Republican of trying “to infiltrate Trump’s administration as secretary of State” after the 2016 election.

The narrator in the 60-second video says that Romney's "cover's blown, exposed by news reports as a Democrat secret asset.” The clip then shows media coverage of Romney’s failed 2012 presidential bid Trump’s victory four years later.

'Peace-Expert' George W Bush Says "Isolationism" Is Dangerous To Peace

Humanity was treated to an important lecture on peace at a recent event for the NIR School of the Heart by none other than Ellen Degeneres BFF and world-renowned peace expert George W Bush.

“I don’t think the Iranians believe a peaceful Middle East is in their national interest,” said the former president according to The Washington Post’s Josh Rogin, whose brief Twitter thread on the subject appears to be the only record of Bush’s speech anywhere online.
“An isolationist United States is destabilizing around the world,” Bush said during the speech in what according to Rogin was a shot at the sitting president.

“We are becoming isolationist and that’s dangerous for the sake of peace.”
For those who don’t speak fluent neoconservative, “isolationist” here means taking even one small step in any direction other than continued military expansionism into every square inch of planet Earth, and “We are becoming isolationist” here means “We have hundreds of military bases circling the globe, our annual military budget is steadily climbing toward the trillion-dollar mark, and we are engaged in countless undeclared wars and regime change interventions all around the world.”

Elizabeth Warren references contract after attack on pregnancy discrimination claim

WASHINGTON, D.C. — As Elizabeth Warren's biography receives greater scrutiny, the 2020 Democratic presidential front-runner added a line to her stump speech at a gathering of Democratic women.

"I became a special needs teacher and I loved that job. But at the end of the first school year, I had an experience that at least some women will recognize," the Massachusetts senator said in Washington, D.C. "By June, I was visibly pregnant. And the principal told me that the job, that I'd already signed contract for the next year, would go somewhere else."

Warren, 70, often recalls how she lost her post as a speech therapist with the Riverdale Board of Education in New Jersey, but the contract is a rarely mentioned detail on the campaign trail. Its addition comes after Riverdale Board of Education meeting records revealed Warren’s contract was renewed in April 1971, but she submitted a letter of resignation. Her resignation was accepted by the board “with regret” in June 1971.

Politico: Beto O’Rourke Seeking ‘Eminent Domain for Guns’

Politico ran a column covering Democrat presidential hopeful Robert “Beto” O’Rourke’s government mandated AR-15 buyback, succinctly summarizing it “eminent domain for guns.”

On September 12, 2019, O’Rourke said, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15.” And on October 16, 2019, he made clear that law enforcement will visit those who do not comply with the buyback in order to “recover” rifles.

Politico reports, “After the shooting massacre at a Walmart in his hometown of El Paso, Texas, in August, O’Rourke proposed a mandatory buyback of all assault weapons—a kind of eminent domain for guns.”

Mulvaney backers turn fire on White House counsel over 'bunker mentality'

Mick Mulvaney's stumble on impeachment messaging has his supporters turning fire on White House Counsel Pat Cipollone, who sources say is viewed within the White House as having a "shelter-in-place bunker mentality."

"There's an open feud between Pat and those who want to fight and defend the president in White House, and Mick is the face of it," a White House official told the Washington Examiner, defending the acting chief of staff.

Cipollone "is not the person you want to lead a political fight. He's a civil attorney without a political bone in his body," the official said. "The majority of people working in the White House who want to fight, who want to engage in pushing against the Democrats, have been frustrated."
