Former CIA Spook: "Deep State Wants Epstein Gone"

Former CIA Officer and whistleblower Kevin Shipp says there are big stories with big implications for America that are unfolding now.

One of the biggest earthquakes that is going off will be the high ranking Deep State elite surrounding convicted sex offender Jeffery Epstein. Shipp says,
“Oh my goodness gracious, the Deep State is darn well scared, and some of its political top participants, I guarantee you, they want Epstein gone. There is no doubt about that. I don’t know why the Bureau of Prisons put Epstein in a jail cell with a cop that killed four people and buried them in his back yard. Epstein should have been in solitary confinement under watch. So, whoever made that decision, it was a complete error in judgment, if not intentional. That should not have happened in the first place.”
Shipp goes on to point out, “It looks pretty clear to me that the Deep State intelligence Shadow government was involved, and it gets worse..."

Rep. Harris Announces Two Federal Aviation Administration Awards for Eastern Shore Airports

WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Monday, July 29th, Rep. Andy Harris, M.D. (MD-01) announced two Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awards: $173,578 for the Ocean City Municipal Airport, and $315,355 for the Cambridge-Dorchester Regional Airport. The awards will fund removal of tree obstructions from runway approach surfaces at each airport.

Congressman Harris made the following statement on the FAA awards:

“I support efforts to grow the Eastern Shore economy. The award of these federal grants to local airports helps sustain and build transportation infrastructure important to employers, employees, and our communities. I applaud the Federal Aviation Administration for their investment in local airports in the First District.”

Maryland Gun Group Has “Good And Substantial Reason” To Sue State

A new lawsuit has been filed over Maryland’s handgun carry laws, and the state gun group bringing the suit is using Washington, D.C.’s gun laws as an example of how the state should issue concealed carry licenses.
The brief, filed in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals on behalf of Edward Holmes Whalen, argues that the state’s gun laws are unconstitutional and have been superseded by other case precedents.

A Maryland resident must provide a “good and substantial reason” to be granted a concealed carry permit. Maryland is one of 10 states considered a “may issue” state, which means it requires a permit to carry a concealed gun, and granting that permit is at the discretion of local authorities. It’s a restrictive law that prevents most average citizens from being able to obtain a permit, said Sen. Michael Hough (R-Frederick and Carroll).
Right now in Maryland and a few other states, those applying to get a license to carry have to show “good cause,” or in Maryland, a “good and substantial reason” to receive a license. Here are a few reasons that aren’t good enough in Maryland at the moment:

Analysis: Democrat Debate Site Detroit Worst City in United States for Raising Children

An analysis of the most kid-friendly cities in the United States shows that Detroit — the site of next week’s Democrat debates — is the worst city for raising children.

The personal finance website WalletHub compared 182 U.S.cities on 47 key metrics to determine “essential family dynamics, such as the cost of housing, the quality of local school and health-care systems, and the opportunities for fun and recreation” in each locale.

“This study aims to reveal the areas that offer the greatest opportunity to achieve Wallet Fitness and live a long and happy life,” WalletHub said of its report.

The Number One city is Overland Park, Kansas, in part because it has the “lowest share of families receiving food stamps, 3.09 percent, which is 15.2 times lower than in Detroit, the city with the highest at 46.91 percent.”

2 California DMV employees convicted of bribery, identity fraud, unauthorized computer usage

Homeland Security Investigations repressed corruption involving DMV employees fraudulently issuing commercial licenses to unqualified drivers. The defendants worked in DMV offices in Arleta, Granada Hills and Winnetka.
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Today, Kari Scattaglia, 40, of Sylmar, was sentenced to two years and eight months in prison for a conspiracy to take bribes to provide Class A commercial driver licenses without the buyer having to take or pass the required tests
Scattaglia and another former DMV employee co-defendant Lisa Terraciano, 52, of North Hollywood, pleaded guilty, Nov. 3, 2017, to a conspiracy to commit bribery, to commit identity fraud, and to commit unauthorized access of a computer.
“Individuals in positions of trust who exploit federal and state law for personal gain pose a significant threat to public safety and national security,” said Jerry C. Templet Jr, Deputy Special Agent in Charge, Homeland Security Investigations (San Francisco and Northern California). “HSI will continue working with our local, state, and federal partners to investigate these types of public corruption cases and bring those responsible to justice.”
According to court documents, since April 2007, Scattaglia worked at the DMV. Between 2014 and 2017, she was a manager, assistant manager, and a Licensing-Registration Examiner (LRE) at the Arleta DMV and the Granada Hills Driver License Processing Center. Terraciano worked for the DMV since June 2005 and was a Motor Vehicle Representative (MVR) in the Winnetka DMV office from 2014 through 2017. Among other things, Scattaglia and Terraciano were responsible for processing applications for California commercial driver licenses (CDLs). A CDL is required to drive passenger buses and to operate tractor-trailer trucks on California and interstate highways, including, in some cases, transporting hazardous materials.
In exchange for money, Scattaglia and Terraciano each accessed the DMV’s database in Sacramento to alter the records of applicants to fraudulently show that the applicants had passed the required written tests when, in truth, the applicants had not passed the tests or, at times, even taken the written tests. In so doing, this caused the DMV to issue permits to those drivers as well as issue completed CDLs upon the applicants’ passing the behind-the-wheel driving tests. In addition, Scattaglia also accessed the DMV database to fraudulently alter applicants’ records to show that the applicants had passed the driving tests despite the applicants not having taken or passed those tests.
According to the plea agreements, Scattaglia caused at least 68 fraudulent CDLs, including permits, to be issued, and Terraciano caused at least 148 fraudulent CDLs, including permits, to be issued.
Terraciano is scheduled to be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Garland E. Burrell Jr., Sept. 27, 2019. Terraciano faces a maximum statutory penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine. The actual sentence, however, will be determined at the discretion of the court after consideration of any applicable statutory factors and the Federal Sentencing Guidelines, which take into account a number of variables.

Democrats Have Lost What Was Left Of Their Minds

Imagine being a Democrat right now. You have the House, and the Republican majority in the Senate is small. In the race for the presidency, you have every advantage with the exception of incumbency. Yes, the economy is booming but there isn’t a mainstream media or cultural institution that isn’t on your side and willing to anything to help you win. All you have to do is not act crazy and you’re 99 percent of the way home. And that’s the problem, there are no longer any sane Democrats.

The House hearing with Robert Mueller on Wednesday was supposed to be their shining moment, their chance to rally the country to their thus far rejected cause. Instead, it was another in a long line of flops. After watching it, I wanted to call a hotline to, as I put it in my podcast, report a shameless display of elder abuse.

It’s true that Mueller didn’t want to be there, but it appears everyone was wrong about the reason why. He’s not “above the fray,” as he was portrayed by liberals, he’s lost a lot of steps. Most shockingly, the hearing exposed that he was, at best, barely involved in the investigation. He was a name to put on the letterhead to give it gravitas and the appearance of bipartisanship.

Here We Go: Nearly 150 Obama Officials Defend 'The Squad' In WaPo OpEd

In an opinion piece for the Washington Post, 148 African American members of President Barack Obama's administration came together to explain why they support "The Squad," made up of Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ayanna Pressley (D-MA).

According to the Obama alumni, President Donald Trump's "go back to where you came from" comments are unacceptable and racist. Although they're bothered by the language Trump used, they use it as "jet-fuel" for their activism.

Witnessing racism surge in our country, both during and after Obama’s service and ours, has been a shattering reality, to say the least. But it has also provided jet-fuel for our activism, especially in moments such as these.

...

There is truly nothing more un-American than calling on fellow citizens to leave our country — by citing their immigrant roots, or ancestry, or their unwillingness to sit in quiet obedience while democracy is being undermined.

Pollak: Elijah Cummings Is a Partisan Hack, Not an ‘Oversight’ Chair

President Donald Trump criticized House Oversight Committee chair Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) on Saturday for failing to help his district. He could just as well have pointed out Cummings does a terrible job of “oversight.”

Whether as chair of the committee or ranking member, Cummings has been a partisan hack. He abuses his power for vendettas against the Trump administration. And when Obama was in charge, Cummings shielded him from scrutiny.

In February, Cummings conducted a farcical hearing that featured former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen. Cohen had already been convicted of lying to Congress and was already on his way to federal prison. Cummings did not care: he and the Democrats hoped Cohen would implicate Trump. They even asked about Trump’s personal life long before he entered politics. It was all a flop — one that proved that Cummings had no real interest in oversight whatsoever.

During the Obama administration, Cummings did all he could to stop Republicans from investigating serious abuses of power. He was Hillary Clinton’s number one defenderduring the Benghazi scandal, for example.

Why Do Democrats Run All Of The Dangerous And Rodent Infested Cities?

Congressman Elijah Cummings may honestly believe that his district in West Baltimore doesn’t stink.

But it does.

I’ve been there, I’ve seen and smelled it.

Bernie Sanders called it “the third world" back in 2016.

Sometimes the truth hurts. Especially to those bathed, clothed, and dipped in the intoxication of corrupt power, but that’s why sunlight is so helpful.

And disinfecting!

Rep. Cummings, while being very obsessed with Russia, seems utterly bewildered with the idea that anyone could dare question why so many billions of federal dollars flow to places like West Baltimore when they are obviously doing no good.

Look at other cities in similar dilapidation and there holds a unique truth: Democrats run them all.

Obama Doctor: Biden ‘Looked Frail’ when Confronted by Harris at Debate

A former doctor for President Barack Obama claimed that Joe Biden, the Democrat frontrunner, “looked frail” when confronted by Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) over his record on civil rights at the first Democrat presidential debate last month.

Dr. David Scheiner, who served as Obama’s personal physician for more than 20 years prior to his election to the presidency, told the Washington Examiner on Friday that after having watched the debate, he was worried about the 76-year-old former vice president’s state of health.

The longtime Obama physician even drew comparison between Biden’s faculties and those of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller, who appeared weak, frail, and confused while testifying in front of the House Judiciary Committee this week.

'There is nothing racist' about it: Trump defends his criticism of Elijah Cummings and Baltimore

Donald Trump defended his recent criticism of Elijah Cummings and Baltimore, Maryland, which falls in the district the congressman represents, claiming there was 'nothing racist' about his comments.

'There is nothing racist in stating plainly what most people already know, that Elijah Cummings has done a terrible job for the people of his district, and of Baltimore itself,' Trump tweeted Sunday afternoon. 'Dems always play the race card when they are unable to win with facts. Shame!'

In an earlier tweet Sunday morning, Trump also blasted Democrats for 'playing the Race Card' and making him out to be a racist for his digs at Cummings, who is black.

'The Democrats always play the Race Card, when in fact they have done so little for our Nation's great African American people,' Trump posted to Twitter. 'Now, lowest unemployment in U.S. history, and only getting better. Elijah Cummings has failed badly!'

Baltimore Rat Infestation Is So Bad They Made A Documentary About It 2 Years Ago

The Baltimore rat problem President Donald Trump tweeted about Saturday is apparently so extensive that it was the subject of a documentary two years ago.

The president’s tweets took aim at Democratic Maryland Rep. Elijah Cummings, who has been very critical of the administration’s immigration and migrant detention policies, calling his home district in Baltimore “rodent infested.”

The Baltimore Sun’s editorial board published a scathing op-ed later in the day that simultaneously waved off the city’s rat problem while calling Trump a rat. “Better to have a few rats than to be one,” blared the headline.

South Dakota now requires all public schools to display ‘In God We Trust’ motto

Public schools in South Dakota must have the “In God We trust” motto on display at all times now due to a new state law — which is meant to “inspire patriotism.”

“Some have plaques. Others have it painted on the wall, maybe in a mural setting,” explained Wade Pogany, executive director of the state’s Associated School Boards.

He told reporters this week that educators have already started complying with the new law, which went into effect earlier this month after being approved by Gov. Kristi Noem back in March.

Trump Turns His Sights On Nancy Pelosi In Battle Over Baltimore

President Donald Trump turned his attention toward Speaker Nancy Pelosi on Sunday after being accused of racism for calling out Baltimore’s crime and trash problem.

“Someone please explain to Nancy Pelosi … that there is nothing wrong with bringing out the very obvious fact that Congressman Elijah Cummings has done a very poor job for his district and the City of Baltimore,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “The Democrats always play the Race Card when they have done so little for our Nation’s great African American people.”

House Dems Get Dark Money Group After Introducing Bill Against Dark Money

After introducing a bill that contained provisions geared towards tackling dark money in politics, House Democrats have a new dark money group in their corner.

House Majority Forward, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit that will not have to disclose its donors, was established in March. It marks its charitable purpose in North Carolina filings as promoting "economic growth and opportunity, environmental stewardship, and democracy in the United States of America." The group plans to raise at least $20 million throughout 2019 to back Democrats and attack Republicans, and will begin airing the first of its digital and TV ads this week as part of a larger $10 million advertising blitz for the year, Politico reports.

The new ad highlights bills being "blocked" by Republicans in Congress, bills to reduce drug costs, expand gun control, provide a path to citizenship for some illegal immigrants, and—despite House Majority Forward being itself a dark money nonprofit—HR 1, or the For the People Act. Introduced by House Democrats in January, HR 1 contained a provision for the disclosure of major donors who give to 501(c)(4) nonprofits.

House Majority Forward will share staff with the House Majority PAC, a committee linked to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, including the PAC's executive director Abby Curran Horrell and its president Robby Mook, who formerly served as the campaign manager for Hillary Clinton's failed 2016 effort.

Despite Dem Calls to Start Over, 90 Percent of Americans Have Health Coverage

America's much-maligned health care system is covering 9 out of 10 people, a fact that hasn't stopped the 2020 presidential candidates from refighting battles about how to provide coverage, from Bernie Sanders' call for replacing private insurance with a government plan to President Donald Trump's pledge to erase the Affordable Care Act and start over.

The politicians are depicting a system in meltdown. The numbers point to a different story, not as dire and more nuanced.

Government surveys show that about 90% of the population has coverage , largely preserving gains from President Barack Obama's years. Independent experts estimate that more than half of the roughly 30 million uninsured people in the country are eligible for health insurance through existing programs.

Lack of coverage was a growing problem in 2010 when Democrats under Obama passed his health law. Now the bigger issue seems to be that many people with insurance are struggling to pay their deductibles and copays.

That’s Weird? So far No Tweets from Comey, Obama, Hillary or Brennan About Deep State Mueller’s Train Wreck in Front of Congress

Funny, but there haven’t been any tweets from the corrupt group that gave us all the Trump Russian collusion hoax since before Robert Mueller’s testimony in front of Congress. What a train wreck these corrupt individuals planned in an attempt to remove President Trump from office through their coup.

Former Director James Comey tweeted about his ‘friend’ Robert Mueller hours before Mueller’s testimony in front of Congress, but he hasn’t been heard from since –

Barack Obama hasn’t left any tweets and Hillary Clinton has ignored the Mueller train wreck by tweeting about how her corrupt Clinton Foundation was somehow supposedly helping someone. Of course, this is a lie based on Clinton Foundation actions to date.

GOP strategist calls Elijah Cummings’ district ‘most dangerous’ in America

GOP strategist Kimberly Klacik on Saturday accused Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., of hypocrisy over his apparent concern for conditions at the U.S.-Mexico border over those of his own district.

Appearing on "Fox & Friends" Saturday morning, Klacik discussed her recent visit to Cummings’ district, which she described as “the most dangerous district in America.”

“So, I went into the district to basically ask people if they were scared of Trump,” Klacik said, referring to Cummings’ comments last week on a talk show that his constituents were fearful of the president.

“And as I go in and I start talking to people, I realized just what the living conditions are, for not just for the residents but even the children there and what they’ve been playing around,” Klacik said. “There’s abandoned rowhomes filled with trash, homeless addicts, empty needles that they have used, and it’s really right next door. So, it’s attracting rodents, cockroaches, you name it."

'In God We Trust' law for S.D. schools ripped by atheists: 'Brainwashing'

The Freedom from Religion Foundation ripped South Dakota’s “In God We Trust” law this week as a form of “brainwashing” applied to children.

Students in The Mount Rushmore State will return to the classroom in the coming days to find the famous motto somewhere within the building.

The law, signed by Gov. Kristi Noem in March, effects 149 school districts.

“Some have plaques, others have it painted on the wall, maybe in a mural setting,” Associated School Boards of South Dakota executive director Wade Pogany said, CBS reported Friday. “[One school incorporated it into] their freedom wall. They added that to a patriotic theme.”

Snopes Fact-Checks Itself For Omissions On Erica Thomas’s ‘Go Back Where You Came From’ Claims

Snopes has corrected a fact check it performed on Christian satire site the Babylon Bee following an irate Twitter thread from the Bee’s founder alleging the fact check was an “opinion” “hit piece.”

The fact check revolved around the Babylon Bee’s satirical article on Erica Thomas, a Georgia state representative who recently alleged a “white man” told her to “go back where she came from” at a Publix grocery store. Bee imagined if she had had a similar interaction with a Chick Fil A employee, later clarifying that the employee had been polite the entire time. Snopes slammed the piece of satire in their fact check, calling it “an apparent attempt to maximize online indignation” and casting Thomas as a hapless victim of racial discrimination.

There’s just one problem: As facts go, Thomas’s story began to unravel almost as soon as it started.
