  1. Wicomico BOE needs a total overhaul! This is a disgrace when 3 people trusted with the safety and well being of our children FAIL.

    1. Who said they failed? Have they been found guilty without a trial? Guilty only in the public eye. Let them have their day in court before you pass your judgement and inject your opinion.

    2. 8:37 Gtfoh anybody close to the situation KNOWS they’re guilty. It’s about time he was charged. He should have been charged when Eskridge was charged.

    1. When you’re local and it’s all run by locals you can do things like turn states evidence that’s exactly what’s happened in this case that’s why you’ve not heard anything about it..... Just like the leo that were involved Either they move out of state Or make some other lateral transfer that’s how this world works and operates it has for years look what happened with our ex president in Mena Arkansas.. Republicans and Democrats both work together it’s a huge cash maker unfortunately the low-end of the polls are the ones that suffer

    2. You know nothing about this case. The teacher pled guilty and remained silent on the specifics. She took a charge for someone. Get your facts straight before u act like u know the true course of events.

    3. Your facts are because your “close” to the situation.... and you clearly are confused..... You’re not allowed to take a charge for someone that sounds just like some homeboy drug dealer talking taking a charge for someone LOL that’s not how it works.

    1. The sad state of affairs is that people THINK they know what happened but they don't really know the truth. Don't believe the media...its sensationalized. Do you really think the state can offer huge plea reductions if they have a true solid case? They don't unless their case is seriously marginalized. And the public is fed garbage and eats it like lambs to the slaughter. Start thinking for yourselves people.

Now which employee of the Board of Education are you?? Sign your name if you want credibility. These people were caught red-handed so if you are defending them, then you are just as guilty of Child Abuse!

8 years with no criminal history is hardly a plea reduction. You’re the one who doesn’t know what they’re talking about. The prob is there is no truth in sentencing. 8 years really means our in two.

  7. She did not “take a charge”. The drugs were found in HER purse while she was leaving the school grounds. FACTS

  8. Most of this crime of Child Abuse, assaults, stabbings, etc. has been happening under the Watch of Superintendent Donna Hanlin. It's time for this Board of Education to step up to the plate before we do a recall vote on them.

Tonya Laird Lewis, you are next up for reelection after your recent appointment. If you want to get reelected in Nov. 2020 you better wake up and start thinking about this fiasco you got yourself in by supporting this failure of a Superintendent.

Also, it's time for the Teachers Union to issue a Vote of No Confidence for Superintendent Donna Hanlin. Help your people out, President Joan Smith.

Thank you. Amy Eskridge has always been a POS ever since she was a school teacher and she should never have been hired much less promoted to Principal.

    1. I had children at both Salisbury Middle and also at JMB while Amy Eskridge was principal at both schools. Whether you like her or not, she had a strong presence and the kids respected her authority for the most part. She did a great job and is unfortunately caught up in a bad situation. Both schools have gone downhill since her departure. She is sorely missed.

    2. 5:07 Oh please. She knew all along what was going on and chose to not report it. I don’t care how she was at Salisbury Middle. Actions speak louder than words. She’s not caught up in anything. She placed herself square in the middle🤷‍♀️

  10. Was Eskridge promoted to Principal of Bennett High School under Hanlin or Fredericksen?

  11. Is anyone keeping a running list of these criminal acts and corruption under Donna Hanlin?

I bet you don't say the same about the "media" when they attack President Trump. Eat Crow, A$$hole!

  15. Speaking of the Bd. of Ed. I've been told that John Cannon has been recruiting Gene Malone to run against Nicole Acle for the District 2 seat. I hope he does so Councilwoman Acle can mop the floor with him. He only got elected for the District 2 BOE seat because no one ran against him. He is not liked in his District so he might want to stay where he is at for now.

Wasn't there a male teacher recently from Parkside that got arrested for sexual abuse of a student?

    What school has more crime?

    1) Parkside
    2) Bennett
    3) WiHi
    4) Mardela

Let's do a poll here and see who has the best guesses.

Didn't RINO John Cannon just get bumped as the Council President?

His time as an elected official in this county is next. He is toast.

  21. Obama liberalism bit this chump in the butt. Administration have all been told, minimize reporting these types of occurrences, hide them when possible.
That’s what he tried to do for statistical purposes. Glad he got caught.
Unfortunately this will give him street credibility and he will get a job in Phili or Chicago pulling down 95k a year. Teaching.

  22. The facts whatever they may be, are still the same. You have a Vice Principal, Principal, Guidance Counselor who put your children in jeopardy at JMB and a drug dealing teacher at Parkside. Sorry folks, this doesn’t look good for your community, nor the kids who have to endure going to the schools in order to get an education - that is the ones who actually want an education.

Your community is falling apart. What are you going to do about it? Continue to vote for the same garbage on the City and County councils? Why that’s the definition of insanity. You can’t bellyache about your woes why you do zero to change them.
